Making its annual pilgrimage to the Dutch music capital, Mango Alley provides a virtual tour of sonic highlights that represent the global gathering of Amsterdam Dance Event. Another year of isolation and restricted contact culminates a sonic congregation that showcases emerging and established talents in a melting pot of creativity. Pulsating beats criss-cross the Amsterdam waterways where musical works of art provide a new beginning for autumn's artistic centre.

Roaring to life as knight and day collide in an explosion of sound and colour, a new nirvana emerges. The stars shimmer over the Melkweg and rippling arpeggios take Shelter on the north side before analogue synth motifs find a sweet spot in the Sugarfactory. Imperceptible melodies fade away on the still night air, anchored to their rhythmic foundations that are infused with history and aural narrative.

'Ric Niels is one of the fastest rising talents to recently emerge from the rich Argetinian scene. Having signed to labels such as Mango Alley, Movement Recordings, Clubsonica, Souldteller and MNL already, now it's time for his Manual Music debut!

Both 'Porvoon' and 'Yukon' have got that distinctive timeless deep and at times dark prog vibe, yet combined with elements that make them crossover to the modern day melodic house sound. Just the kinda hybrid vibe that works well on the legendary Dutch label.

On remix duties you'll find two additional fresh talents who have been making waves recently. First up it's German producer Bensus7 who entered the scene only six months ago with releases on labels such as Einmusika, Cinematique and MNL. Alpine craftsmanship combines with Argentinean talent as The Wash and Ric Niels provide a new global partnership between Europe and South America. Through "Argaut", flexible rhythmic grooves ease their way atop throbbing beat and urgent bassline whilst silky pads add counterweight. Striking arp phrasing melts into hypnotic patterns before "Remote Madness" find a way to back to lucidity. A meteor-sized kick thumps its way across the plains; from Höflein to Tres Isletas where acid sequences morph across the sonic landscape, pausing for breath in a serene breakdown. The smooth undertones of "11.247" shimmer in undulating patterns and a moment of uplifting joy transcends geographical barriers. A melodic force ripples in concentric circles; rising and falling in effortless waves, it creates exquisite aural artefacts of blissful intensity.

Following his recent remix of Gregory Esayan's "Pilgrimage", Serbian artist Vintage & Morelli is back with "Tsukiakari Ame", a wonderful new two-track EP. A strong, hypnotic groove is quickly established in the Original Mix, while an evocative pluck arpeggio lurks in the background. The break sees the introduction of a haunting piano line, which is later accompanied by the prominent and energetic theme lead. The Deep Mix provides a more laid-back version, although still incredibly groovy. The piano elements are the foundation for the entire soundscape, and they are beautifully showcased in full in the break. A variant of the theme emerges soon thereafter, brilliantly integrated alongside the intriguing Orient-inspired flute melody.

Following his "Hill / In Your Heart" EP on Silk Music, a collaboration with Bring Bliss, Russian producer Pavel Denisov is back with a 4-track EP, "Misterium".

The title track takes off with a deep and hypnotizing groove, later accompanied by intriguing female vocal stems. Throughout the song, numerous subtle melodic additions provide extra texture that mixes perfectly with the lush vocal effects. A rather mesmerizing atmosphere is quickly established in "Caldera", featuring a strong groove and powerful bassline notes. Light melodies and lush sound effects add an extra level of detail to the song. In "Dream Of You", we witness a soothing soundscape with an incredibly funky groove and refreshing vocal lines. Rounding out the release, "Continuum" features a hypnotic groove and dramatic sound effects, as well as evocative synth elements.
