Welcoming in the new year is Toolroom’s ‘Leaders Of The New School 2022’ album. 

Established last year as a series to showcase up-and-coming talent, this album features a handpicked selection of artists who have graduated from the Toolroom Academy. The Academy is the label’s renowned educational arm, which over the past 5 years has been innovating electronic music education by breaking down the barriers between new artists and the music industry. 

As a driving force in Electronic Music education, we are proud to state that our ‘Leaders Of The New School’ album series is one of the hottest platforms to showcase some of the incredible talents rising through the Academy. Boasting a wide variety of artists from #ToolroomFamily favourites Husko, Tone Troy, Lewis John and ACAY, to debuts from Camille Doe, Fletcher Kerr, Neviks, Remi Blaze, Liam Cox and JUNË8.

Label boss Danny Howard makes his first appearance of 2022 on his Nothing Else Matters imprint with his own club dub of Ashibah's debut release for the label, 'Get 2 Know Me'. 

Danish/Egyptian DJ, producer and vocalist, Ashibah has already taken South America by storm, making her mark on the international scene with her explosive DJ sets and ever-expanding catalogue of club heat on an impressive list of labels including D4 D4NCE, Armada Subjekt, SOLOTOKO, Kittball, DFTD and This Never Happened. 

Danny on the other hand still continues to rule the airwaves as one of Radio 1's greatest tastemakers with his new 6pm Friday show alongside countless sold out gigs and releases on Toolroom, Saved, Moon Harbour, Sola & more. Danny's remix takes on a slightly techier persuasion to the original offering taught synths, rhythmically charged percussion, pumping bass and crisp drums. Enjoy!
