On the nature of distance. 
This piece is a reflection on the sense of loneliness and belonging, on distance and longing. Mahsa has taken the picture. On our way from Philadelphia to Rochester.

On the Nature of Distance

Ruggine [the piano journey] is a project to produce a road-movie about the journey of an old upright piano from Biarritz (France) to Rome (Italy). Every day a stopover in a little town along the way, every day a concert for the people of the place. The soundtrack of the movie will be composed during the journey, Oxyde, that is the film opening theme, is  the only track I wrote.
