We are thrilled to welcome two duos that doesn't need much introduction for those digging the electronic music world, Fat Sushi and Township Rebellion. The Swiss Deep House duo Fat Sushi has been on fire during some last 12 months delivering top dance floor productions and remixes for labels like Suara, Stil vor Talent, OFF, Kittball or Hive Audio. Recently Ralph and Daniel also launched their very own creative imprint Fat Wax with releases by Onur Ozman, Township Rebellion and Thomas Roberts.

Singer/Songwriter ‘Archivist’ certainly is no stranger to the electronic music scene – his highly acclaimed collaboration with ‘Edu Imbernon’ on ‘Fixing Fires’ heated up dancefloors all over the planet and got championed on Radio 1 while clocking up praise from the likes of Q, Noisey or Dummy. The South Londoner now picked a collaboration with Swiss duo ‘Fat Sushi’ on a trippy melodic odyssey that goes by the name of ‘My Empire’.
The super-hot package includes Remixes by Stil vor Talent’s Township Rebellion and London’s AUS music regular Marquis Hawkes who’s representing his signature jackin house sound.
According to ‘Dancing Astronaut’, Fat Wax has proven to be one of the underground’s most exciting new imprints – currently having the 6th most successful ‘Electronica’ track on Beatport. Can the imprint keep up with their tradition of releasing quality music?

Radikon's new compilation "Reto" is here. Radikon is the term for 'roots' in Esperanto, an international language that sought to bring people together. We share this vision, using art and music in lieu of language. Radikon is a group of like-minded artists that came together to release records that are more than music, each with its own individual soul and lifeblood. Producer and painter work closely together at Radikon to craft genuine, heartfelt art. The Berlin based imprint was founded in the autumn of 2018 by Jonas Saalbach and David Guzy who embarked on a journey with their close friends Budakid, Dahu, Foreign Guest, Tony Casanova and Yubik. Effortless grooves, organic synthesis, haunting melodies and the masterful subtleties of Simon Kneip's artworks drive the captivating atmospheres at Radikon.

PREMIERE: Tony Casanova - Realism (Original Mix) [Radikon]

Dynamic DJ/production outfit Leftwing : Kody make a welcome return to the Truesoul fold.

Londoners Leftwing : Kody made their first impression on Truesoul back in 2016, with the excellent four-tracker ‘Telepathy’. Since this time, they’ve dropped strong releases on Moon Harbour Recordings, Green Velvet’s Relief Records and Desolat, all the while developing their sound to explore the breadth of house and techno’s broad terrain.

‘In The Moment’ EP is the embodiment of this development. The title track kicks off the EP and conjures up atmosphere in spades with its stripped back techno approach, tribal grooves and wonky synth line, while a bongo hook line maintains the energy throughout. ‘You Know’ is an attitude-packed beast, led by ghetto vocals and sleek groovy basslines, with the duo’s masterful drum work ensuring the track pops. No surprise it was championed by Loco Dice throughout the summer. ‘Stutter’ lays it down, pure and simple; a mash of stuttered stabs and squelching techno beats, it manages to occupy an otherworldly atmosphere courtesy of some intergalactic synth effects, giving the track its memorable edge.

A cool track from the 90s with an awesome bassline.  Bit the bullet and bought the Korg M1 vst for this one, really hard to get the same sound with a basic triple oscillator.  The main synth stab was done with the SQ8L VST, and that thing is hard to program.  It's an emulator of the Ensoniq SQ80 which is rumored to be used in the original.  No standard presets on it matched, but it has some waveforms (digit1, digit2) when mixed come close.  The rest of the song was using 909 samples and LMMS presets (whistle, slow strings, etc).  The baseline has some swing and it's a bit tougher to get right in LMMS.
