Ellum Audio mainstay Raxon is back with two more of his cosmic techno wonders.

Raxon hails from Egypt, is Barcelona based and has risen through the ranks with a well crafted and emotive techno sound on labels like Diynamic, Kompakt, Cocoon and more. Last summer he played huge parties like Resistance Ibiza at Privilege as well as festivals like DGTL. Though he has made big moves in recent years, Raxon has been deeply involved in the scene for more than two decades.

Characterful opener 'Loop Machine' is a dark and playful tune with loopy vocals layered over a rolling drum beat. The pixelated synths spray about the mix and the whole thing is destined to make the club bounce as one.

The excellent 'Love Lapse' has a retro feel with its 80s synth chords and widescreen astral atmospheres. A busy bassline does plenty of work to keep things moving, while turbulent blasts of synths and prickly percussion add vital texture to this late night jam.

These are two more forward-looking and evocative tracks from the ever on-point Raxon.

Following a recent killer release on Drumcode, Dutch-Chilean techno producer Ramon Tapia returns to his own imprint, Say What?, with the 'Last Step'.

The three-tracker features two originals and a Nicolas Taboada remix — all tunes are soaked in Tapia's trademark dancefloor-ready sound.

The title track opens the release and sets the mood just right with its powerful kickdrums, dark synths and hypnotising percussions. Up next, 'Plastik' picks things where 'Last Step' left off to enchant us with its deep sound, rich atmospheres and angelic vocals. Two men, two tracks, two distinct sounds and narratives: ‘Vapour Trails’ takes the lead with a distinctive rolling drum arrangement that drives the track into unknown. Built up layer by layer, there’s a cool sense of mystique where key elements such as the guitar line and main chords are held back until midway when the beakdown and main pay-off bring everything together dramatically.

‘Betera’, meanwhile, taps into a brighter, more emotive sound that celebrates the Systematic signature Romboy and his troupe have developed over 15 years. Powerful, evocative and not afraid to writhe in the melodic side of techno, we guarantee this will be warming a lot of hearts and souls on dancefloors over the colder months ahead. Beautiful. PREMIERE: Edu Imbernon & Raxon - Betera (Original Mix) [Systematic]

'Spanish duo OIBAF&WALLEN's (Parquet / Onism) first EP in Univack Records is a mixture of genres, just as the label imprint is used to be.

The two original tracks (Balder & Hela), are boarding Melodic-Techno and also Progressive-House, with a dancefloor-oriented spirit, arranging dense synth layers and epic landscapes inspired by the Viking's tales.

The ukranian producer Arude (Steyoyoke / Univack) remixes Balder, in a creative, unusual Techno form, with organic sounds and clever use of the original stems.

Rising stars on the genre, Nicosia based producers, Paul Angelo & Don Argento (Movement / Dopamine), made a minimalistic progressive interpretation of Hela, with their characteristic dark ambiances and sharpened sounds.

Last original release for Univack 2019, a year in which this Spanish label launched some of their best releases till date.'
