Jive is the DJ project of Jai Royall based in Brisbane, Australia 

Representing Transubtil Records (France)

Spawning in 2017, this project is a vessel for exploring the harmony between organic yet unearthly textures and the pulse of deep rhythmic structures.


Jive is the co-founder of Murky Collective, event director of Swampy Conscience and has recently started a new collab event series called Murky Dimensions which taps in the hybrid worlds of Techno

En su formación, arreglos y selección de temas se observa la influencia proveniente de las Orquestas de mediado de siglo oriundas de la costa caribeña de Colombia. Esta influencia confluye con la extensa tradición Cumbiera que existe en la Argentina, la cual se evidencia con mayor nitidez en los temas que son de autoría de la banda.
