Premiere: A2 - ELODIE - Bohemian (Michael James Remix) [ELO004]

Following a run of successful digital releases, eloelo records presents its debut vinyl release, a multifaceted 4-track EP, featuring three original tracks by label head ELODIE and a remix from coveted producer Michael James.

The A side is headed by the title track, ‘Bohemian’. Consistently well-received, especially by those lucky enough to have heard it on a heavy-duty sound system, the track creates an immersive, euphoric atmosphere that oozes warmth and vibrant energy. Coupled with one-off hits and delightful ear candy meticulously sprinkled throughout, ‘Bohemian’ offers a feast for the senses making it impossible not to move to. Your ears and your feet won’t be able to get enough.

Michael James' remix of ‘Bohemian’ transforms it into a peak-time anthem that ignites the dancefloor. His rendition adds a layer of intensity and excitement, characterised by his trademark percs and a thrilling breakdown that leads to an explosive drop, leaving revelers ecstatic every time it is unleashed. A proper ‘bomb’.

The B side takes a more emotive turn with two more original tracks from ELODIE.

‘Like To Dream’, envelops listeners in a dreamy, sense of deep introspection via complex soundscapes which have been expertly woven to create a mesmerising depth of sound. Its seamless blend of pads and synths create a profound journey, inviting listeners to lose themselves in this moving, mature track inspired by the Rominimal sound.

‘Pineapple Ice’ rounds off the EP with a mood that is both tranquil and experimental. The track’s minimalistic yet intricate composition offers a soothing yet intriguing auditory experience, balancing calmness with a touch of playful unpredictability. A dubby techno number which perfectly balances out the EP.

Hotly tipped as one of London and the UK’s most promising female talents, ELODIE’s rise from the unknown to fabric resident, is just the first rung on a limitless ladder.

A fan of deep and dark minimal and deep-tech first and foremost, ELODIE's meticulous selections always guarantee to turn heads due to their unconventional appeal. Inspired by Traumer, Silat Beksi, David Gtronic, Audio Werner, Michael James, Enzo Siragusa and many more, ELODIE’s analogue-rich performances have grabbed the attention of many with their emphatically creative approach. She has supported some of the most highly sought-after underground talents, including Sweely, Traumer, SIT, Barac, Janeret, Rossko and many more.

A mainstay on the London scene, ELODIE is a frequent fixture at the city’s most respected club spaces - including fabric, where she holds down a Sunday-night residency, Village Underground, 93 Feet East, E1 and many more. She is also known to make appearances at many of the capital’s underground parties, often playing on canal boats and pop-up sound systems in woodland areas.

ELODIE’s presence has been further boosted by the support she has received on her productions, with support from the likes of Jamie Jones, and more recently with plays at world-renowned Sunwaves festival, which has perfectly laid the foundations for a promising pipeline of releases on her own newly-established label, eloelo records.  Existing releases on acclaimed labels, such as FRAME Music and BienAimer Records, including her debut EP which charted in the top 4, have also earnt her support from fellow artists and industry tastemakers.
