We take a trip back in time with our second release...

James Bless, a lover of all things 90s, first caused a stir this year with his VIP edit of '94 classic, "Sweet Vibrations", by DMS & Boneman X. Followed by a collaboration with Dexta on None60, he is now ready to unleash his debut solo single, "Disco Biscuits".

Bless brings a dubbed out 140bpm lead track where rave flavours and jungle breaks are the focus in this ode to ecstasy.

The flip see's Crypticz stepping up to the task of remix duties by embracing the sound of the old school whilst giving it a darker, footwork infused twist at 165bpm. Early support from the likes of Dexta, Itoa & Lakeway.

Established in 1996 as an up and coming DJ, Unkut quickly impressed his peers with the art of mixing vinyl.
Being immersed in the local scene of Swindon, UK, Unkut was looking for further outlets for his music and joined the pirate radio crew Blaze FM, giving him the opportunity to play a broader spectrum of music reflecting a wide range Dance/Electronic tastes quickly building up a large audience.
The success of the station and shows lead to Unkut’s first residency at the Brunel Rooms playing at status nights such as The Fruit Club and Best of British which had seen him playing at many events with diverse musical range along side names such as The Ratpack, DJ Slipmatt, Mickey Finn, Shy FX and Randall.
With the momentum increasing and playing at bigger events, he had his first project producing/engineering three “new rave” tracks for “Future Rave Anthems 2” compilation producing tracks with DJ Faydz and by early 2010 the tracks had success on radio 1 with heavy support from DJ Kutski as well as reaching No 1 on the itunes chart.
Recently Unkut has had various pseudonyms catering for various musical genre’s including his own independent label and as well as a string of top ten hits and no 1’s has gained support on radio 1 / 1xtra and rinse FM with support from names such as Hostage, Doc Scott, Hannah Wants and Kevin Saunderson.
On hearing about the return of Full Cycle Records and having been in contact with Roni Size for a few years, Unkut did not hesitate to write some D&B in his jungle infused style, which Roni gave the seal of approval to. Bringing us right up to the present day, when we are very pleased to announce that Unkut is an official part of the Full Cycle family, the ‘The Funk, The Filth EP (The Filth)’ is exactly that, an EP of various styles that have influenced Unkut’s production style across multi DnB sub genres all wrapped up in one EP of epic proportions, this is part 2 of a 2 part EP series.

Since its inception in 2016, Redeyes has become one of the cornerstone artists of The North Quarter, fully embracing the multi-genre aspirations of the label. Yet with his latest release he delivers a more homogeneous project, focussing mainly on his Drum & Bass roots. His always intricate productions draw influences from Jazz, Techno and Dub to give a coherent yet diverse feel to his third release on the Amsterdam based label.

Let's be honest, the definitions around what is an isn't an EP have blurred somewhat recently. Why they've blurred I couldn't really tell you but I can tell you that here at none60 an EP has to meet this criteria - 1) It has to be good (hopefully great!) and 2) it should be 4 or more tracks!

2 or 3 tracks is a single.... I'm all for change and bucking trends but you can't be going around calling a single an EP.

Anyway, you all want to know about the music, so here we go! The boys wonder Jaskin & Uneven should be no strangers to none60 fans so it made perfect sense to have them kick off our run of EPs to close out 2019! This is the first artist EP on none60 and what an EP! From the hypnotising synths of "Again", the room shaking bass of "Signals", the slapping snares of "Fiction" and the acid workout of the title track "Safe Edge" - this is pure forward thinking Drum & Bass!

If this EP isn't enough then look out for more Jaskin & Uneven on the none60 LTD sub label later this year!
