BURN, V. Contreras’ inaugural EP was released in December 2013 and has quickly garnered attention from the industry and Seattle music scene alike referring to V. as a pioneer in sound and the next Seattle act to break.  In the words of Rick J. Bowen of Innocent Words, “V. Contreras looks to drag the polartec wearing music scene of Seattle into the next century and dress it up with some sophistication whether they like it or not.”
With what could possibly be the next James Bond Soundtrack in the waiting, V. went from 100 adoring fans to 20,000 in less than a year with fans clamoring to get their hands on the full 11-track album which will be released on April 15, 2014.  With lyrics as memorable as her soulful voice, BURN, V.’s inaugural 11-track album, presents an honest jolt of clever authenticity, which truly defines her music.  Burn is a concept album unified by the theme of love in its most unconventional form.  

THE FACTS: The album was produced, engineered, mixed & mastered by Martin Feveyear (Brandi Carlile, Duff McKagan’s Loaded, Common Market and Blue Scholars).  It features string & horn arrangements by Andrew Joslyn (Macklemore – The Heist / Passenger String Quartet). The album includes Seattle’s finest musicians: Rebecca Young, Jeff Fielder, Rusty Willoughby, William Stover, Andrew Josyln, Natalie Mai Hall, Eric Padget, Tom Yoder & Craig Flory.  A remix by Mike Sylvestor (Fly Moon Royalty) will be included on the album and a second remix featuring Tilson will also be included.


Michael Clancy is a singer-songwriter hailing from Colchester, England. He grew up absorbing the music of the great American singer-songwriters, before moving to London at the age of 18 to pursue his own musical journey. Michael toured the world accompanying various artists as a session musician, and on his travels began to find his own musical voice.  July 2017 saw him release his latest EP, 'If The Sun Goes Down,' available now on iTunes and Spotify.
