Making their debut at Winter Series at Revolver this weekend is Jandruze, a multidisciplinary artist and DJ with a practice spanning dance, drag and costume/sound design for both theatre and cabaret. Over the past decade they have carved out their place as an icon of the Australian queer underground. Their strong foundation in contemporary dance is a major influence on all facets of their work.

A staple of the vibrant Naarm club scene, they collaborate regularly with events including BARBA, TROUGH, POOF DOOF, Heaps Gay and Honcho Disko and have toured extensively with YUMMY Productions. Other notable collaborations include Discordia, RISING Festival, DARK MOFO, Performance Space, Midsumma and The Huxleys - with major design credits for Lazy Susan, Velma Vouloir, Tanzer, Antipodes Theatre Co, Play Date and Holly Durant to name but a few.

Cooper Smith has been making waves around Australia as of late, what sets Cooper apart is not only his immense musical talent but also his indomitable spirit and determination.

As a proud individual with a disability, he defies any limitations that come his way. Despite the challenges of controlling his muscles, Cooper has created his own unique path as a DJ, showcasing his authenticity and proving that true passion knows no boundaries

His motto in life is ‘You only live once’. Because if you waste your life, you will regret it, and what's the point of that?⁠ - And living his best possible life he is, have traveled to 33 countries and counting, following his dream DJing around Australia, and being a role model for so many people, ‘It is really important for disability to be represented as it normalises it. I want to be that person that little kids see being amazing and having a disability.⁠

Scenes of joyous self expression in the first-ever Mixmag Lab Kyiv with @alesia-arkusha (Miss Monique) bringing her classic progressive selections.

All proceeds from ticket sales were donated to fund occluders for children with heart defects at the Amosov Institute in Kyiv. In these challenging times, Miss Monique and Mixmag Ukraine remain close to the Ukrainian music community and to those who need support and care.

“That day will stay in my heart and memories forever. My first party in Ukraine since the war began. Three years later. It was emotional, overwhelming, and full of love. I can’t express how grateful I am to everyone who came and shared that evening with us. You, friends, reminded me what home feels like. These 1.5 hours with my Ukrainian family is a moment that meant everything to me. Thank you Mixmag Ukraine for making this happen," she says.

A powerhouse of the Australian festival circuit having been featured at Strawberry Fields, Earth Frequency, Subsonic Music Festival, Psyfari, Bizarre Garden and is a resident of Rabbits Eat Lettuce, hosting a Bassic Records showcase on the festival’s main stage each year.
