Elton has always strived to become a great composer as his lifelong goal. Ever since he studied in Australia, he has created many works in pursuit of his dream. The tranquil environment in Australia allowed him to hear many inner voices - sometimes, on long train rides on Sundays, he saw the picturesque scenery of green fields and ripples on the ponds after the rain; or when he felt lonely at night, many inspirations came to mind, and he created many different mood pieces on the piano. Between 1994 and 1998 alone, he created more than 300 works, which can be said to be the budding stage of his music creation.

After graduating from university and returning to Hong Kong with excitement and anticipation for the next phase of his life, he found that life in Hong Kong was busy and stressful, and his mind was occupied by work and trivial matters, making it difficult for him to hear the music in his heart. However, after more than ten years of life's trials and tribulations, the flame buried deep within his heart did not extinguish, and the inspiration within his heart not only returned but also gave birth to even more rich and diverse compositions! Elton never gave up on pursuing his dream of music!

"If life is like a movie, every scene has its own soundtrack!" This is Elton's current creative spirit, centered around the theme of "Soundtracks for Life."

In recent years, he has created toys, commercial advertisements, film scores, and environmental music. He also created exhibition hall music for the "Hong Kong Week" cultural expo held in Taipei in 2013.

Elton一直以成為偉大作曲家作為終生奮鬥目標。從他在澳洲留學的期間開始，已經創作了很多作品，為的是滿足他多年來追尋成為作曲家的夢想！澳洲閑靜的環境，讓他聽到很多內心的聲音－有時候在星期日的長途火車上，看見綠野田園的風光景色，雨後池塘上的漣漪；或是晚上感到寂寞的時候，心中泛起不少靈感，就以鋼琴為伴，創作了很多不同的意境純音樂。單單在1994至1998年之間就創作了超過三百多首作品，可以說是他音樂創作盟芽的階段。

其後大學畢業回到香港，帶着興奮期待的心情去踏入人生另一新階段，可是回到香港後，生活繁忙緊迫，身心都被工作和一切煩瑣事佔據了，心中的音樂不容易聽得見。但是經過超過十多年在人生中的磨練，埋藏在內心的火焰並沒有熄滅，內心中的靈感不但回來了，還蘊釀出更多更豐富的樂曲！追尋音樂這個夢想，Elton從來沒有放棄它！

「如果人生好比一部電影，毎個片段總有它的插曲！」。這就是Elton目前以Soundtracks for Life為主題的創作精神了。

近年創作玩具產品、商業廣告、影片及環境配樂。於2013年台北舉行之「香港週」文化博覽會之場館創作展館音樂。
