Funny Story α: At first this track was planned to be gradually worked on over 5-7 days and uploaded by the end of December, which is yesterday, but college + motivation problems leads to over 60% of the song being composed during yesterday and today instead. So I changed the upload date to today, and even then I'm still on time for new year! ^^;

The year of 2021 was a very mixed bag for me. On one hand it’s the most depressing year of my life so far, and that’s only a slight exaggeration on my part ;w;
On the other hand, it’s also the best year for me in terms of improving my music skills, so that’s at least something to write home about!
All that being said, I hope y’all enjoy this lil new year special of mine! And I wish everyone a Happy New Year!! ^w^

... My time in the terraria modding community hasn't been all rainbow and sunshine.
That's not to say it's all bad- I've met several wonderful people and learned many valuable life lessons along the way.
But the community's still responsible for taking away much of my innocence and idealistic personality that I used to have.
Not to mention the personal/mental issues I've gotten from it all.
The lyrics you hear in this song are based on some of my more awful experiences with the dramas of the community.
Even after Dokuro has left an important lesson regarding certain things with his leave... some people still never learn, huh?

Anyways, y'all could say this is my way of letting you all in a bit of my story. Interpret the title and the lyrics however you will.
But rest assured that I'll not be leaving the community until the infernum mod OST is done.

So while I waited for Goozma news, I made this in an hour. Kinda liked it enough to keep it into the OST project as the first track; a mock-up title theme, if you will.

This song was so much fun to make, but it sure took some time didn't it? 

I wanted to give the player of Calamity their own theme that kind of mirrors SCal's theme. This whole song was a large undertaking. Think of this song as my way of saying, if a 15 minute song didn't make me quit then nothing else will!
