One of the most important Mesoamerican deities was the feathered snake deity. Worshipped by a number of different cultures dating all the way back to the Olmec, it represented the power of several empires. One of the ways through which this deity’s influence spread was through the cult of Kukulkan, the Mayan iteration of the feathered serpent. Though relatively little information is known about Kukulkan’s worshippers, there’s no doubt that the worship of the god helped to spread Mayan culture and ultimately worked as something of a bridge between the various societies of the pre-Columbian Mesoamerican world.

Yoshua E.m was born from one of the minds behind the project called Black Dreamz. The Mexican artist of Dark psychedelic, Experimental and Drum and bass began to produce music experimenting with different sounds and environments to find the psychedelic sound. In 2008 he started producing under the name of Yoshua E.m and his recent project are 7 Lunas (Ambient, Downtempo)
Yoshua is one of the favorite producers at three in the morning on the dance floors of Goa Gil. It belongs to the American label Anomalistic Records; its base in Mexico is the label of Zacatecas, Discordia CREW, Kamakhya records from India, Twenty-five Records and Dark society from Mexico and the Japanese irOri Music.

Toxic jungle is about the petrochemical age of humans. With petrochemical industry and capital we create and produce a lot of un recyclable materials that mix with our earth. Nowadays you can find plastics, micro-plastics in the nature, in the forests, in the oceans, inside the animals and plants, as well as chemicals in the sea and the air. If we don’t stop producing such kind of materials, many animals and plants will die and our water and air and earth will suffer grave consequences. We will either evaporate or mutate in the ages to come with this defected life style offered to us by the petrochemical capital and industry. This album is to remind us that our earth is precious and fragile. There has always been infinite power and the circle of life in this planet, until one of the species, i.e. humans, gained the power to destroy everything.
Nowadays we are terribly worried about the human race with the epidemic of the corona virus. But we still cannot see that if we do not stop using this system we are living in, we will become the biggest and the most hazardous virus for this planet! We are growing in number each year unconsciously. Now there are more than 7 billion people living on this planet abiding the rules of this wrong and unfair system. People are dying each day by the thousands due to hunger and people killing each other for stupid reasons. A lot of animal species have become and are becoming extinct because of our unnatural system.
We need to start rethinking about our life styles and the system, and about the precious time and planet we are wasting and destroying with our sad, pathetic and unsatisfied lives.
