Rifana is a Moroccan musical band , that works mainly on the musical styles widely spreading in the Moroccan Rif region.The band is regenerating, giving birth to rhythms and melodies constituting an integral tributary of the Amazigh musical stream.The works of Rifana are deeply influenced by the  rifain Moroccan , international  music . Rifana is devoted to hug the daily worries and sufferings of the Rif region , and to draw attention to the main events in the Rif region , through songs celebrating the land and its people in their struggle for survival. Rifana benefits from the rich ancient rifian musical heritage , and tries to preserve and promote the melodies and rhythms associated with the Izran musical tradition practised by rifian women during weddings, festivals, harvest periods and the return of sinners and triumphant warriors. The band also released its works in Classical  and Moroccan dialect as an attempt to reinforce and promote the culture of coexistence and brotherhood among different ethnic , social and cultural components of the Moroccan society , weighing the value of cultural diversity being a major factor of variety and richness , which gives the Moroccan musical culture its power and attractiveness.
