The lyrics use the tree as a perfect metaphor for a steadfast Muslim life. It describes how a tree's deep roots, patience through storms, and generous offering of shade mirror how a people should be: deeply rooted in faith (Iman), patient through life's tests (sabr), and generously giving to others without expectation.
