Buba SMS is an Italo-Gambian DJ based in Milan. 
His musical research is deeply rooted in the UK electronic scene, with a strong focus on the cultural and musical influence of Afro-Caribbean communities within the UK’s urban soundscape.  
His approach stems from a long-standing passion for British rap and its evolution into more club-oriented sounds,  
with a focus on genres like UK Garage, Grime, Jungle, and other bass-driven styles.

His sets are defined by rhythmic energy, heavy basslines, and fast-paced BPMs, weaving together diverse elements of electronic music into a fluid narrative.  
Each selection is conceived as a musical journey: it starts from the dancefloor but tells stories of identity, diaspora, and cultural connections.
