On April 22nd, Mostra took over Espacio Perpendicular for a few hours.

Mostra is an independent, small-scale festival of avant-garde and experimental electronic music that was born four years ago to nurture the Barcelona scene. Mostra is local, inclusive, and sustainable. An independent festival made in Barcelona for Barcelonans, but with international vision and reach.

The event, which took place during the day, featured performances by Mattikk, Emilia Grima, Pillen, Doozer, Haara, and F-on.

Curtiss presents: the Pálinka ! A tribute to Hungary’s iconic spirit, known for its bold, fruit-forward character. Born in Dunaújváros, Hungary, and now thriving in Switzerland, Curtiss crafts emotive, refined electronic music that resonates deeply with listeners. His journey began in 2009 amidst Hungary’s vibrant house party scene and evolved into a distinctive style that blends Organic House, Deep House, and Lounge with subtle elements of Tech House and Deep Tech.

Since moving to Switzerland in 2012, Curtiss has built a reputation as a storyteller behind the decks, performing at bars and clubs across the country and internationally, including Marbella. In 2016, he founded Bekool, an online radio platform turned record label that embodies his ethos of emotional connection and atmospheric soundscapes. By 2023, Bekool Lounge expanded the vision with a focus on relaxed, ambient-inspired releases.

This exclusive mix features tracks entirely from Bekool Records, most of them unreleased, showcasing Curtiss’s artistic vision and the label's sonic identity. With a treasure trove of unreleased gems, it offers an immersive journey through carefully curated soundscapes. Since 2021, Rummels Bucht has been history. The gap it has left in Berlin has only grown bigger with each passing year. But for one weekend in May, it will be filled once more: with sparkling wine, teary eyes, eternal gratitude, and a few golden oldies! This is the original recording of my DJ set around saturday midnight. Thank you to all the loved ones who were part of that night – whether on the dancefloor or in my thoughts.

Seit 2021 ist die Rummels Bucht jetzt schon Geschichte. Die Lücke, die sie seitdem in Berlin hinterlassen hat, ist mit jedem Jahr größer geworden. Aber für ein Wochenende im Mai wird sie noch einmal zugeschüttet: mit Sekt, Kullertränchen, ewiger Dankbarkeit und ein paar ollen Kamellen! Recorded during the early hours of Sunday morning at Garage Noord at the Omen Wapta Weekender, this live set from Formant Value captures the essence of a weekend that transcended the club experience—where sound, space, and shared energy merged into something truly transformative.

Opening in slow motion, the set unfolds with a deep, psychedelic ambient current—echoes, pulses, and dub textures forming a wide sonic horizon. What follows is a steady, organic rise into tribal techno rhythms and hi-tech structures, maintaining a sense of spaciousness even at its most kinetic.

It’s a set that mirrors the architecture of the night itself: meditative, then elevating, then dissolving again. There are no sharp corners—just flow. Time felt suspended. Movement turned internal. And in the foggy warmth of the dancefloor, listeners were gently guided through a collective dreamspace.

Formant Value is known for his unique & sophisticated sound, that defies easy categorisation whilst nodding in the direction of downtempo, dub and IDM, with elements of D’n’B, trance and techno. This spring, Monochrome is offering each month to one or several artists to discover their influences and inspirations through a forty-five minute to two hour recording. These three recordings will focus on percussive rhythms between Ambient, Deep Techno and Drum & Bass.

Artist biography :
Resident artist at Ultra Rec. and member of Lyon's Combine Soundsystem collective. Roxane shapes her musical universe through intense, progressive sets. Between dub, bass music, breakbeat and deep techno, she creates a mystical soundscape marked by the raw energy of the English scene and the powerful sounds of dub soundsystems.
