Ember Ray springs from the vibrant collaboration between soulful singer Ember and visionary composer/lyricist Kentyn, bringing Latin, Jazz, and Dance rhythms together with captivating storytelling for a genre-defying musical experience.

Ember's love affair with music started early, thanks to Jazz's soulful tales and vibrant tunes. Cultivating her passion throughout her academic years, Ember ventured into professional performance at 17, using her voice to express herself through beautiful lyrics and melodies.

Kentyn, a seasoned composer and lyricist, has graced stages worldwide, sharing his music and his wealth of expertise in music technology. His diverse experiences embody the essence of "That's Life: I've been a puppet, a pauper, a pirate, a poet, a pawn and a king…" and are a testament to his deep understanding and love for music.

Ember and Kentyn's paths crossed unexpectedly in a West Marin restaurant, a serendipitous encounter that would change the course of their musical journeys. From Kentyn's spontaneous invitation, "You bring the lyrics, and I'll bring the chords," their partnership flourished, blending Ember's soulful vocals with Kentyn's captivating compositions.
