Having already contributed to the wider Enhanced catalogue with a smooth remix of Arkangel's 'You Shine', we now welcome the first original offerings on Colorize from Frankfurt-based producer Farves in the form of two-tracker 'Tides / Particles'. The opening track is a three way collaboration that sees Farves joined by producer Sebastian Moriarty and vocalist Ellysse Mason; the trio create a tranquil, psychedelic record that blossoms into life, anchored by a mesmerising groove and elevated by vibrant, entrancing sound design. On solo effort 'Particles' Farves carries through that serene energy, creating a polished, vibey record in the process. It's a smash of a debut from Farves here on Colorize.

The first EP release in the label's discography is "Fushimi" by experienced Japanese producer Kita-Kei. The track is full of Japanese scales, giving it a cinematic grandeur. The three-color remixes by label member kanata.t and 2bnsn are also must-hear tracks, refining the original mix from a different perspective.

Continuing to add new talent to their roster, Clubsonica Records welcomes AKSOM to the label for his debut EP. Hailing from Colombia, AKSOM is at the beginning of his journey into the world of melodic house and techno. As a professional producer for some time, the Cali resident has discovered a new-found inspiration from the genre and in turn created a distinct sound for his AKSOM moniker. Now, unveiling the project for the first time, AKSOM debuts on Clubsonica with 'Artefactum | Saturn', alongside remixes from Kamilo Sanclemente and Juan Pablo Torrez.

Beginning with 'Artefactum', AKSOM flexes his free-thinking muscles with a creation that's equally at home on a peak time dance floor or floating above a festival skyline. Punchy beats, trance-inducing melodies and siren-like textures marry beautifully across the first movement, expertly building tension as the main break approaches. A euphoric shade is revealed during the interlude, rising against a backdrop of percussive rides and grandiose phrases, before a thrilling drop sets the course for a finale of clustered sonics and symphonic motifs. Meanwhile, the companion piece 'Saturn' is an apt barometer of where AKSOM's headspace is at, as he lets tight kick drums lay the foundation for flashing arps and deconstructed horns to carve a path into a poignant centrepiece. Big, bold and magnificent; yet intricately crafted with wavy arps and metallic sonics, it's AKSOM's sophisticated musicality and mature no-frills arrangement which preludes a hands in the air finale. 

Returning to the label 'Artefactum' is Kamilo Sanclemente. Prolific and consistent in equal measure, Kamilo has earned the praise of genre tastemakers Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren, while showcasing his music via All Day I Dream, Anjunadeep, The Soundgarden, Replug and more. Affiliated with Clubsonica for some time, the Cali resident has operated as the label's AandR, while also recording eight originals and five remixes since making his label debut in 2015. Now, making a welcome return Kamilo dials in a thrilling rendition of 'Artefactum'. Spanning seven magical minutes, Kamilo's imaginative rework resonates on a profound level, as he expertly transforms the parts into a consciousness-expanding conversion of musical ideas, one where sleek dance floor minded grooves meet driving percussion, charming effects and hopeful overlays in a colourful progressive marriage.

The release concludes with Clubsonica label boss Juan Pablo Torrez providing the lone interpretation of 'Saturn'. Mango Alley, The Soundgarden, UV and more have served as landing spots for his progressive creations, while world class DJs Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren have been steadfast supporters along the way. Also highly regarded as a DJ, Juan remains one of Colombia's premiere talents, sharing the stage with Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Sasha, Matador, and more. In a year that has already seen Juan deliver a single for Guy Mantzur's Plattenbank imprint, he now returns to his comfortable home of Clubsonica with a huge rendition of 'Saturn'. Taking a cue from the original but with a progressive state of mind, Juan works flashing percussion and rolling rhythmic structures over hip-swinging grooves for the ultimate dance floor presence. Complete with striking melodic fragments, hyperactive arps and a forest of prophetic designs, it's an adrenalized energy-rush for the ages – one where Juan lands at his creative best. A powerful interpretation from the Clubsonica boss, which rounds an auspicious debut offering from AKSOM, a new-found artist moniker that you'll certainly be hearing more about in future.
