Another session travelling mini mix - this time I think I finally dialed in the recording routing- although ran into a bleed issue I could not resolve.

It’s that time of the year again where i stay and scroll through older and newer tunes of mine.
This time i chose the followings:

A1: a collaboration i did with my brother @gruvimusic back in 2022, a super mysterious and groovy piece that still feels timeless to me.

A2: from 2024, my first track almost entirely made on a drum machine, the Analog Rytm MkII. It goes straight to the point, dancefloor-oriented, simple and effective.

B1: from 2022, a very energetic track that made some moves on the dancefloors back in the day and could still cause some trouble.

And finally, B2: a track i made in my garden in 2024, on a warm spring day, where i recorded the birds singing and some car noise on the street which i transformed into a texture that plays throughout the track.

Growing up in a musical household and attending many different concerts, CAMET was constantly exposed to genres like Blues, Soul, Pop and Rock / Indie Rock, which very much curated his musical understanding.

At the age of 10, he discovered Dubstep and Drum & Bass as a first introduction to electronic music, with artists like Skrillex or Rudimental. Soon after, he ran into EDM and quickly transitioned into House Music, growing a great passion for the sound and artists like Mark Knight, Carl Cox, Armin Van Buuren or Solomun. 

These many years of familiarising with music allows George today to blend House with Indie, Tribal and Melodic sounds, which always results in a very fun, happy and uplifting musical experience. 

For George, it is about music and psychology together. Every set is a journey, a story told through beats, melodies, and drops designed to elevate emotions and keep people dancing and enjoying, with the ultimate goal of making people feel at bliss.

Meta Zen : a mission of healing through art.
Meta Zen is a multimedia art project comprising djing, music production, dancing, event production, visual art, photography, apparel, technological programming, poetry, and jewelry. Mauricio Zuniga was born in Costa Rica and started to DJ in 1996 while at University of Pennsylvania. He now resides in Portland, Oregon. Mauricio owned and built the psychedelic record shop, ChaosExistence.com. For 6 years, Chaos Existence was responsible for bringing some of the best electronic music to the Pacific Northwest as well as shipping it around the world. He has been an avid dj and dancer contributing to the community. He has also thrown many events bringing world class talent to the PNW. Most notably, Mauricio was responsible for bringing Tipper to the Phoenix Festival in the mid 2000’s and brought acts such as Drumspyder, Kalya Scintilla, Desert Dwellers, Bird of Prey for the first time to Portland, Oregon. Mauricio currently worked with Rose Entertainment and Mettā, throwing premiere events continuing to bring cutting edge music. He was nominated by his team as a Rose Entertainment resident DJ. Mauricio's projects draw from a well of diverse sounds. Mauricio likes to weave together unique soundscapes - using the art of storytelling. He has a unique signature from his experiences.
