Embxrs (embers), the debut project of Melbourne-based singer songwriter, Deshani, was born from the idea that the art we create draws from our experiences. We make something of the embers, the remnants of the storms we brave.

Songs finding their sparks in her bedroom, on a second-hand piano, have ignited into melodic pieces of poetry, exploring all the things that keep her up at night. Taking inspiration from the likes of Lennon Stella, Sasha Sloan and Verite, her music is a blend of melodic pop with a hint of the poetic lyricism of modern greats like Taylor Swift and Julia Michaels
