Dina Summer (@dinasummer) is back with a bang! The international trio, consisting of the talented Bavarian producer Kalipo and the creative Greco-German duo Local Suicide, have recently released a reissue of their highly acclaimed debut album ‘Rimini’, along with the ‘Rimini - Versioni Discoteca’ LP containing fresh dance versions of the album, designed to get you hyped up for the discoteca. They are now set to release 'Rimini Remixes' on Audiolith, featuring 14 exceptional remixes from renowned artists.

Their debut album "Rimini" was launched on Audiolith last year and promptly sold out. It garnered praise for its effortless and energizing blend of Italo, New Wave, Punk, and Electroclash influences. Critics dubbed it "the perfect summer album," and it was featured in esteemed international publications such as Spiegel, Groove, Faze, Tsugi, and DJ Mag, and received support by prominent Djs and airplay on radio stations across the globe.

‘Rimini - Remixes' is no different, boasting a 14-track electrifying tribute to the outstanding collaborative efforts of Dina Summer and the diverse artists showcased on the project. Serving as a testament to their unparalleled talents and genre bending approach to music production.

German producer Schlepp Geist (@schleppgeist) is a highly prominent personality in the world of electronic music. His rework of 'Mirage' is a striking departure from the original. It's an experimental piece, skillfully incorporating new and playful sounds, ethereal synths, and psychedelic elements on top of a fast-paced beat. The vocals stand out, featuring the spoken and breathed lyrics from the original track.

Following on from Melodic Motion, Martin Matiske returns to Bordello A Parigi with a track that first appeared over a decade ago. Released on his first album on Stilleben, “Dimension Phantasy” has been dusted down and given a new lease of life. This extended version bubbles with the same energy as the original. Steady kicks give way to scaling chords as a racing piece of future gazing brilliance takes hold. Melodies are addictive, yet cold, with a common ground between disco and electro being forged. Sharing the 12” real estate are two good friends, each offering their own remix. Captain Mustache is a musician who can turn his hand to any style. Here the French producer remains true to the Matiske’s version, adding layers of warmth while maintaining the Springtime coolness of beats and harmonies. The flip is given over to Play Paul, a trailblazing figure in electronics. BPMs are reduced as sweetened lines take flight in the “Oh Lord! Remix”. Arpeggiators rumble before bold keys and heartfelt vocals enter in this emotive reinterpretation. The finale strips back lyrics to focus on those succulent synthesizer sounds. Behind the alter ego @ultratube there is a tremendously curious person with an obsession to constantly investigate new music, new structures and sounds that take him to another emotional state.

Creating his musical masterpieces he always repeats: “Of it doesn’t make you fly, it’s not worth it”. And, honestly, we agree.

A couple of years ago, he fell in love with Disco in its most cosmic and spatial aspect (where he also plays Dark Disco, Italo Disco, Indie Dance, New Beat, Acid, Progressive, etc...).

He usually plays at El Barbero Club (Palma de Mallorca). One of the reference clubs in the city in terms of quality electronics with more than 30 years of experience.

The mixes he creates are usually journeys through hypnotic, narcotic, lysergic and melodic- melancholic sounds where they come together to create a rise in the listener's emotional intensity.

But the one recorded for us is more powerful, narcotic, cosmic and hypnotic than the others.
