From Time Instrumental - Drake featuring Jhene Aiko

One of the catalysts for this whole project has been the work of El Búho. I was already familiar with his production and remix work (for the uninitiated check out his mesmerising remix of Chancha Via Circuito - Sueno en Paraguay) when I stumbled across his ‘’Roots & Rhythms’’ podcasts. I was blown away. He was compiling, on such a regular basis, a vast range of beautiful music and sharing it with the world. I hoped that I could too help share the music that I love and support these amazing artists.

Unsurprisingly El Búho was one of the first people I contacted about contributing to the series, so it is with great pleasure that I am now able to present to you his Métron Musik Mixtape. It’s as smooth and peaceful a journey as it is a beautiful and triumphant rural adventure across many sonic worlds, finding it’s final peak at the very last moments with an outstanding unreleased track of his own. Inspired by the mystical notion of musical nirvana, it’s a vivid depiction of a small part of the sonic universe, but one that feels very much at one with his impressive output to date.

@Opilec-Music boss @I-Robots is proud to announce the release of a compilation that pulls together all his most essential reconstructions, edits, remixes and reworks from 2007 to 2017. Arriving in two parts, Chapter I is dedicated to the 70s and 80s old school sound, while Chapter II focusses on the 90s and new school sounds and artists. The release comes with special artwork by label collaborator Lodsb. 

One of the many highlights is the I-Robots Reconstruction of innovative 80s Swiss electronic band @Yello-official ’s ‘You Gotta Say Yes To Another Excess’ with brilliantly squelchy bass and shooting synths.

Night Noise strong start to 2018 continues and for this release we welcome back our long term friends and partners in musical endeavours 'Sinchi'. The multi platformed 'Sinchi' goes from strength to strength combining their musical productions, DJ mixes, and of course their much loved blog, which shines a light on some of the best music from within the left of centre scene in which they operate. Add to that the 'Sinchi Tribe' community and you have a very busy collective. 

The EP in question is 'Kappa Cygnids' and features two new tracks and as ever they are eloquently named and shrouded in mystical magic. 'Kappa Cygnids' is the lead track and is followed by 'Hyperborea' both tracks have Sinchi's signature sound and are backed up with two cracking remixes from Mexican producers Riglopolar and Roliva. The computer screen flashed abruptly and the light went out beneath the thick dense glass. The old machine had potentially blown its fuse for the day but there was still significant hope that the track might not have been lost to the depths of the ether. Vanishing into thin air it had the potential to revitalise itself from the beyond. Reloading the machine there was little hope or life in the old box, the tin can rattled beneath the desk as his foot tapped abruptly upon the floor. 

Now here's a secretive one, an unknown artist with an unknown track. Discodromo however are familiar faces, the pair behind Cocktail d'Amore remix the mysterious alias on Me Me Me.
