PREMIERE: JAAW - Hmm!!! [OLDE TAPES]

Like other duos, such as Daft Punk or The Chemical Brothers, Tepat Huleux and Giac Di Falco have been inseparable since they first met at their Calais high school in 1996, bonding over trips across the Belgian border to continue their education at Ghent's legendary warehouse parties. Now under the identity You Man, all their years of learning have enabled the two producers to find their own unique sound which they call "Club Wave", a heady mix of electro club, new wave melodies and dark, deviant and hypnotic disco grooves. First released back in 2013, You Man's debut EP Restless -and its lead track Birdcage- launched the career of French duo Tepat Huleux and Giac Di Falco, kickstarting a decade of stunning live shows played all around the globe and acclaimed releases and remixes on labels such as as Tronik Youth’s NEIN, Boston Bun’s Circa’99, Armada and Eskimo Recordings. Now, to celebrate their first ten years in the game, Huleux and Di Falco have revisited their debut EP, and they've brought along some of the many friends they've made over the years. Twisting the EP's original four tracks into brand new shapes, we have several reworks of Birdcage from the likes of Etienne de Crécy, Theus Mago, Rigopolar, PPJ, Numérobé, Samaran, Kimshies and Des Jonquilles, that range from taut electro-house to dark techno, balearic bliss to even a stunning solo-piano rework, whilst Sara Zinger, Poïka and Molecule all work their magic across the EP's remaining tracks.

Panko reissues its track “Electra”, this time an exclusive version for Pride 2023, Cu Da Curuxa with a new remix to “Super High” by our friends at Sylphomatic. Closes the tracklist Cali Burton contributes her remix to “Zodiaco” by Andre Rech, one of the latest releases from the label that has had a great impact.

Superhappy to welcome space commander and italo lover @alsoplayablemono A.P. Mono (short for Also Playable Mono), a DJ and producer from Warsaw. Real name Rafal Lachmirowicz. He started his DJ career in 1999. Resident of many clubs throughout Poland. He took his first steps in music production in 1998, and since then he has been producing electronic music under many aliases and in many genres, from house, indie dance to italo disco. In 2015, inspired by the rebirth of Italo disco in European underground culture, he decided to increase his activity in this field again. He also launched his own label. A.P. Karl's debut track, "Control Me”, was released on the respected label Club Mackan and has been played in mixes released by the likes Khidi, Minitel and Something Spæcial. Behind the alter ego "Ultratube", there is a tremendously curious person with an obsession to constantly investigate new music, new structures and sounds that take him to another emotional state.

His sincere musical passion began to develop in the mid-90s, bathing himself in styles where distorted guitars predominated such as Indie Rock, Punk, Noise, Shoegaze, Indie Pop or Dream Pop, among others. In love with powerful bases and heavenly melodies.

At the beginning of 2000, contact with electronic music began through Techno, of a more minimalist and hypnotic style, with people like Richie Hawtin, Jeff Mills or Josh Wink among others. Already in the mid and late 2000s, he began to have contact with more melodic and atmospheric styles, such as Progressive House, influenced by people like John Digweed, Sasha or Hernan Cattaneo.

Around the year 2022, he falls in love with Disco in its most cosmic and spatial aspect (where he also plays Dark Disco, Italo Disco, Indie Dance, New Beat, Acid, Progressive, etc...).

He usually plays at El Barbero Club (Palma de Mallorca). One of the reference clubs in the city in terms of quality electronics with more than 30 years of experience.

The mixes he creates are usually journeys through hypnotic, narcotic, lysergic and melodic-melancholic sounds where they come together to create a rise in the listener's emotional intensity.
