"Quantum offers a strong set of core timbres, conveniently categorized into different forms to complement each other, whether you use them in a fuller arrangement or with singular focus. They can be customized into different emotional flavors, whether you desire something darker and distorted, or airy and almost retrogame-esque at points.

I found Quantum quick to load and navigate from the get-go, so I immediately began exploring — definitely hold down the keys from the low to the high notes in thick chords, and get carried away as layers flow into each other! Also be sure to play with the mod wheel, which is assigned accordingly: sometimes that's cutoff to make your pads swell in realtime, and for other patches the modulation shifts between waveforms. There are unique touches here, like the "trigger releases" that play the note again upon key lift-off, and you can get some awesome jittering ostinati out of it.

You can hear all of these techniques in the demo I contributed, "Adored Aspect", which true to its name, shows off my most adored aspects of this very lush and playable library, and is 100% proudly made with sounds from Quantum."
