Having been born into a home of two musical professionals, Charles grew up being surrounded by piano masterpieces of Debussy and Chopin. As the years flew by, Charles’ fascination with film scores and orchestral music increased rapidly, and from that point forward, life was an ongoing love affair with the full orchestra and its possibilities.

Nowadays, Charles is a published, freelance composer, having dabbled in many genres, everything from epic film scores to quaint piano solos. He has well over 200 works to his credit, with dreams of a great many more to come.

Charles now lives near Petoskey, Michigan, where he has worked as a Handyman, a Builder, and a Photographer.  When he’s not working or playing with his kids, he can usually be found enjoying a drink at one of his favorite coffee shops, taking pictures of the local scenery, or plugged in where you might expect - headphones donned, delving into the wondrous world of music.
