Classynthetical Moogsic

In the year 1936 Samuel Barber composed a beautiful classic piece of music, which got the name "Adagio For Strings".  A composition that was used a lot, such as in famous movies like “Platoon”. In 1995 UK based producer William Orbit started to work on an album with synthesizer interpretations of some classical pieces. In 1999 Ferry Corsten was asked to make a remix of William’s version of “Adagio For Strings”. Ferry’s remix got released late 1999 and an edit of Ferry’s version, was even used as the radio / video version.

Ferry’s remix won a "Dancestar Award" in 2000 for best remix of the year of 1999.
