Studying the craft and hitting the ground running, LIGHTLEAK clocked over 100 gigs in his debut year alone, bringing his infectious energy to dancefloors across the Dutch capital and beyond. Now, back on home turf, he steps up for his first release on Hottrax with the punchy ‘Shelter’ EP—a three-track package of stripped-back grooves and undeniable dancefloor heat already receiving support from the likes of Carlita and more.

‘Shelter (Funky Heroes)’ brings high-energy house heat from the jump, layering classic bounce with tight, contemporary energy and vibrant, soulful vocals. ‘Memphis’ steps in next with a rolling, groove-heavy rhythm, peppered with snappy drums and hooky vocal loops, before ‘Hamburg’ delves deep with booming kicks and glossy synth work, signing off the EP with a final statement of intent.
