Here's a short ambient piece, the idea first came to me as it was about to rain and I imagined a certain kind of atmosphere I felt I needed to capture. 

I've been working on some classical piano and neo-renaissance music, and have been busy with some other music work, pardon the absence. There is nothing I want more to get back to routine releasing but I will have to be delayed a bit longer I'm afraid. On the bright side, there will be some more little songs coming in the coming months, and hopefully a bigger surprise in December.

In a few days also, there will be a short stop-motion film debuting with my full original foley and soundtrack, so look out for that!

No external foley/recordings or loops are used, everything is done from original sounds and recordings.

Barely Alive - Welcome To The Real World ft. Diamond Eyes (My Remix)

Me and HideKy collaborated to make a heavy drum and bass song with his awesome djent!

When making this, we want to make it brash, aggressive, and powerful. So I decided to make drum & bass, with its base composition and length. I gave it to him, and when he came back to me suddenly, because of usage the Phrygian usage and his djent influence, sounds really exotic like many popular heavy metal song, it is very coarse.

[Drum & Bass] rareguy & HideKy - Monochromatic Lenience

This was my submission from NAWN's Sample Battle 002, made in two hours with entirely free software. The sample was a quirky cowbell percussion loop that was used as the rhythmic element in the first half, and as part of the base layer to define a melody. It was heavily inspired by the likes of Convexity and Kero. I hope you all enjoy it!

I also wanted to explain why I haven't posted in a while.
I've been working extremely hard on learning sound design and improving what I already know. I'll hopefully soon have some highly requested older tracks ready to release on this account polished up with some new techniques, then it will become an archive. I'll be creating a new account for a fresh start with a far more advanced sound, and I'm extremely excited to share it. This is a small taste of that.
