Nací en Guadalajara el 14 de febrero de 1981. Crecí en las cercanías del municipio de Tlaquepaque y fui influenciado por la música y el arte de sus alrededores. A los 12 años comencé a tocar la guitarra, a los 14 años mi primera banda de rock. AAAAJUA!!
Los intereses múltiples me han llevado de la escritura a la ingeniería, de las artes plásticas a la música.

I The Bad Mexican si formano ufficialmente a Montepulciano nel 2009 quando Filippo Ferrari (voce e basso), Tommaso Dringoli (voce e chiatarra) e Matteo Salutari (batteria) decidono di passare dai patinati palchi del death metal ad un genere più psichedelico e sperimentale. Influenzati da vari generi musicali, tra cui kraut-rock, jazz, elettronica e psichedelia, danno origine nel 2010 al loro primo lavoro intitolato “This is the first attempt of a band called The Bad Mexican”, che riscuote un notevole successo tra la critica underground italiana ed estera, guadagnandosi l’interesse dell’etichetta indipendente Lizard Records. Nel 2011 il terzetto incotra e accoglie Davide Vannuccini (sax ed elettronica), con il quale inizia, prima in fase live poi in studio, una nuova sperimentazione musicale. Nello stesso anno partecipano e vincono il 3d_contest che li vede protagonisti durante la Festa della Musica di Chianciano Terme e il Live Rock Festival of Beer di Acquaviva. Riescono nel 2012 ad autoprodurre il tour del loro primo lavoro, che li porterà ad esibirsi sul palco del Crazy Mama di Budapest. Nel 2014 esce il loro secondo album “Due”, finanziato tramite crowdfunding su Musicraiser, che vede protagonista nella fase di mastering il produttore e sound/mastering engineer Tommaso Bianchi.

Influenced by various genres, including krautrock, jazz, electronic and psychedelic-rock, in 2010 they give rise to their first work “This is the first attempt of a band called The Bad Mexican”, which achieves great success among Italian and foreign underground critics and gaining the interest of the independent label Lizard Records. In 2011, the trio meets and welcomes Davide Vannuccini (sax and electronics), with whom starts to move towards new sound experimentations, first in live then in recording sessions. In the same year 3d_contest hosts them during “Festa della Musica di Chianciano Terme” and “Live Rock Festival of Beer di Acquaviva” music festivals where they are acclaimed as protagonists and winners . In 2012 they decide to self-produce the tour of their first work, that leads them to perform on Crazy Mama‘s stage in Budapest. Thanks to the crowdfunding on Musicraiser, in 2014 they release their second album “Due” boasting the collaboration with the producer and sound/mastering engineer Tommaso Bianchi for the mastering process.

Cicero Chaves, DJ and producer, began listening to electronic music in 1997. By the year 2000, he had already begun to produce his own tracks, making many different projects with different styles of music, from tech-house to hip-hop. He has also been a sound producer and a sound designer of soundtracks for films.
Nowadays, he spends his time between techno and its varieties and tech-house production. He has been, for some time now, perfecting his skills in production with DJ and Producer Krishna Baby.
Krishna began to listen to house and techno music at the age of fourteen, by the time he used to go to the clubs which started the underground electronic music scene in Rio de Janeiro.
In 2003, he started playing minimal and progressive, switching later to progressive house and tech-house, and has
been,for 4 years now, making his own music.About a year ago Cicero Chaves and Krishna Baby have started working together producing tracks, beggining their own project
called Freakslum.
Inspired by different styles and varieties of music, Freakslum has been creating its own musical identity, aiming always at a minimalistic and straight conception, very much influenced by American Techno and European Minimal, bringing thus to Rio de Janeiro a totally new concept in Techno and Tech House.
