Christian Duka is an electronic musician, sound artist & designer, immersive audio specialist and higher education lecturer. His musical outputs span the experimental and left-field electronic dance music both in his solo work and ongoing collaborative projects Vādin (with Avsluta) and MARMO (with Marco Maldarella). 

Christian's passion for immersive sound was sparked by a month-long residency at MONOM 4D Sound in Berlin and blossomed into his multi-disciplinary project UR: Human Presence — an artistic experience involving 3D sound, contemporary dance and performance art. Amazed by the creative potential of spatial audio, in 2019 he founded AMOENUS, an immersive art organisation that supports the development of immersive audio in the arts via R&Ds, events and workshops, most recently on their own custom made 16.4 sound system currently installed at The Bath House in London.

I really like that when I listen to music, when I close my eyes and concentrate on the sound, I get the feeling that various things, such as sound particles and waves, are entering me. It feels very comfortable as it feels like you are facing your own feelings. 

Knowing who you really are is very important, and it's almost like a theme in life. When I make music or play a DJset, I want to help people relax and take time with themselves."

Endurance is the ambient project of Canadian-born Joshua Stefane.
Using modular synthesizers, field recordings, and cassette tapes,
Endurance’s sound has become increasing minimal and tonally-
focused over the years, employing a minimum of elements to create
a maximum of expressiveness. In addition to releasing from labels
such as Constellation Tatsu and Mystery Circles, Endurance also
curates the Japan-based tape label Muzan Editions. He is part of the organizing team for Moment, a techno festival in Nara, and
SLOWMOTION, a regular ambient party in Osaka in collaboration
with AOKI takamasa and Loe. He has appeared at numerous high-
profile events such as Kyoto’s Star Festival, Moment, and Rural, and
has performed with artists such as Neel, Peter van Hoesen, and Wata Igarashi.

Adhémar is a multi-disciplinary artist, establishing his universe through music and visual works.
Constantly in search of the luminous quality of sounds, in a world made of shadows and light, his music is closely linked to his plastic work. 
This obsession with shadows leads him to think and create spaces, atmospheres that focus on the lightness and poetry of light. The idea of "narrative potential of music", allows us to confront the psychological and philosophical journey with a particular relationship on what is alive and what surrounds us (whether it is the material, immaterial world, the fact that everything is constantly becoming). With a particular rigour for transitions, whether in his own production or in his DJ set, his universe is built little by little, with the passing of sound transformations and the light and poetic transportation of it all.

Ronny Pinazza (@ronny_pinazza) tries to convey the feeling of the infinite timelessness of the soul of nature with music in an understandable language. His DJ sets are always driving, ritualistic. Natural sounds and hypnotic melodies allow the listener to reach another state of consciousness. His productions are experimental, unorthodox. Hypnotic rhythms and driving beats characterize his tracks, always filled with natural sounds. The listener is transported in a space that seems to exist between the stars. Deep in his heart he believes in infinity and that time and space are only imaginations. His goal is to express these inner feelings with music, so in 2021 he set out to develop his musical language. Ronny Pinazza has released 2 EPs on Cellar Door records, EP and single on MDivision Group Records. Collaborated on VAs on Indefinite Pitch, Initiate Records, Free Palestine Charity VA, Linee Sonore. Mostra is a project that comes straight from the heart. An independent, small-format festival of avant-garde and experimental electronic music which emerges as a counterpoint to the macro-festivals and the overcrowded, commercial and rather impersonal offerings of other large events held in Barcelona.

Mostra's third edition took place between the 28th and 31st March. Aina Climent's two hours set opened the festival on the first day of performances at Hangar, a day dedicated to the more horizontal musical proposals and cutting-edge sounds within the four days festival celebrated.

EMC welcomes Joan Gila!

Joan Gila, a vinyl enthusiast, is the curator of @hoc-radio and also manages a small cassette label focused on ambient, avant-garde, and experimental music called @red-edge-label. He is part of the duo @binomi with his friend @slim-jordi.
This DJ set was recorded in Madrid at the Temple event, curated by @machines-desirantes and @javier-camunas, which takes place at @espacio-perpendicular, an intimate venue with exquisite sound. This particular set is Temple 03 featuring @hardcore-chillout, and it's an exercise in mixing and merging an older record from around the 80s with a new one, playing with them in such a way that the listener doesn’t know where they are.
