Futuristic tales of the past, as told from a present girl's bedroom. The sounds of an exhilarating chase through the dystopian streets of New London. Heartbroken cyborg weapon dealers, crazy comic book-like villains and a robot-cat headed assassin from the past at the centre of it all. The music of Ahno tells its crazy story of a mad future Britain and never ceases to create a groovy tune whilst doing so.

As an electro-funk music artist from the U.K., Ahno brings a unique twist to the genre with her use of vocal changers/transformers, to tell the weird and fantastical story of the different characters within her world. Creating funky-dance tunes and electro-instrumentals, the music follows this story of the robot-cat headed warrior woman, Ahno herself, fighting the futuristic baddies of New London in a search for the one who stole her head.

Taking inspiration from old school funk, modern electro-dance and Japanese city-pop, Ahno mixes the energetic feeling of dance and pop with the vibe-y, groovy nature of funk through her use of electric guitars, bass, synthesizers, sampled bongos and, most uniquely, her obscure and interesting vocals. Embarking on a new sound, Ahno takes the feel of artists like Daft Punk, TWRP and L'Impératrice, and pushes it through a continuous narrative that can be deeply explored or completely ignored, in favour of simply the music itself.
