RAYZIR (an anagram of his first name Yarriz) is a promising multi-talented DJ, producer and vocalist from Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
 
Born in 1991, he is a true ‘90s kid and grew up in a time when electronic music was on the rise. His involvement in this growing music culture from its beginning has made him a multi-faceted electronic musician with a deep understanding of the history of dance music, alongside all the different genres music has to offer. He has gained support from the likes of industry heavyweights such as Marco Carola, Jamie Jones, Michael Bibi and Loco Dice, to name a few.

RAYZIR has now signed on top quality labels such as Elrow, Nervous, South of Saturn, MUSE, TBX, Avotre, Microhertz, Cuff and counting, has reached the top 5 on Beatport with his music alongside Miguel Lobo and has had airtime on BBC Radio 1. He has worked on collaborations with those at the top of the scene internationally including Emanuel Satie, Reelow, Iglesias, Proudly People and Daniel Orpi, amongst others. 

In 2022, during Amsterdam Dance Event, he was even selected as one of the ‘The Future Of Dance’ artists worldwide by 1001Tracklists.

He has performed in Europe’s biggest Elrow Town Festival in The Netherlands where he resides, and is one of the artists on the line up of Amsterdam’s critically acclaimed Straf_Werk Festival, also having played in multiple clubs around the world from Romania and Serbia to Bali. 

RAYZIR is known for his uplifting energy behind the decks, combining the art of DJing with multiple turntables and live remixes. His style is not limited to one genre but is best described as groovy house music with a flavour of deep, tech, South-American and African influences.

In the seventies I was into poetry in a big way and put a number of them into print. Although my purpose in writing poetry was to make comment on a theme or subject, to question a statement or a belief, to capture in verse a scene or a mood and all of this for my own enjoyment, it becomes the goal of those who write to have others read their work.  
So after many decades, and using today’s technology, I have once again thought to share my poetry.  If listing to these words incites some comment in you, whether critical or approving, if they make you consider the subject matter, I will be satisfied.
NB: We apologise for the quality of these recordings. They have been converted into MP3 files from a cassette tape recording made in 1976.

If & But hails from Bristol in England, a town that has its roots firmly planted in the UK’s music scene. Somewhat different from your average artist nowadays, this DJ/Producer isn’t really that bothered about the mass hysteria that is created by todays social media for that concerning image and style, the MUSIC is what counts and that is where all the attention should be focused. With a wealth of influences that range from Massive Attack to Roger Sanchez, from Frankie Knuckles to Daft Punk swiftly moving through Ten City, MAW, Armand Van Helden, Basement Jaxx, Moloko, Robert Owens and Kerri Chandler, I think you have guessed that we are talking about House Music in all its various shades.
At a very early age If & But realized that this particular style of music unleashed a positive vibe and energy onto all those who listened, a style that could crossover from pure class with refined sounds and voices to something a lot rawer with instrumentation and layout that was aimed at attacking the dancefloor. This was what he was looking for, something that covered various moods of people, something that wasn’t always too obsessive and strong, something that could be vibrant when needed, cutting edge, when called for and soulful when requested. House Music offered all this and If & But would like to make his own contribution…

Glasgow-born/Ibiza-influenced Marcoloco has been involved in the dance industry for over a decade.
Over the last 8 years, he has solidified himself as a true Ibiza resident. Playing over 100 gigs every summer in a variety of the island's coolest hotspots.
He has held residencies @ Space, Manumission, Eden, Es Paradis, Salinas Beach, Es Vive Hotel, Hush, Shipwrecked, Savannah,and Global Radio.
Marco is a true specialist in several different genres ranging from chillout/downtempo to funk/disco to house and techno.
A simpler way to describe his style is Balearic ;)
