The Gnossienne Suite - BJ Cole's Pedal Steel and Emily Burridge's cello bring out a lyrical quality in Satie's music that is not possible to express in the standard piano interpretations; and undercurrents of Eastern European music clearly emerge as an influence on Satie's original compositions.
Also, the idea of the individual Gnossiennes as movements in a suite gives added weight and substance to the whole, and allow a new appreciation of Satie's unique musical genius.

Deep waters Jackson&Burridge duo

Emily Burridge as a producer and composer collaborating with the legendary lyricist Scott English. 
In this partnership she is writing and producing songs recording with the traditional band line up in rock and pop genres.
Being supplied the lyrics she lives with them and the theme and general harmonies of the song develop at the piano - writing with manuscript paper and pen. It is when she is out walking and finds herself singing the tune that the time has come to commence the recording production.

Online recording –  Emily’s musical sensibility and talent is second to none, coupled with impressive technical skills. Emily was able to complete the underscore for my 60 minute musical, DAWTA online, with excellent attention to detail and coordination with my sound engineer. I was very happy.

Composing – After hearing Emily’s work online I pursued her for a year! Finally we got to work on my one woman musical DAWTA. Emily’s work is exemplary, her instinctive, emotive compositions bought additional depth and soul to my work. Her cello arrangement for my song  ‘My Life’ was beautifully simple and devastatingly powerful. Thrilled customer.
