Vintage rocker with a background in community activism as well as music. Bands include the Bo-Weevils (Liverpool, 1960s) the Hot Rod Gang & the Sabrejets (Tyneside, 1970s) the Firebirds, the Kindness of Strangers, duos as MG & Lynnette - now The Border Rebels - and with the singer-songwriter the late Irene Sutherland. 

I ran a music & songwriting group in a prison for 13 years; I play guitar for solo singer Lynn Craig and I'm currently rehearsing for a new music project in the Scottish Borders. Some of my newer songs seem to be getting increasingly political - blame the politicians for that!

Most of what I post here will be solo, live-to-stereo acoustic recordings of my original songs. They're often quite different from other versions I've recorded or played with bands. I hope you like them, many thanks for stopping by...
