Based in Birmingham UK, Dan has risen from strength to strength with his unique take on music which began at the age of 13. Dan grew up on Soul and Funk which finally made his decision drop other passions and concentrate his music ability and understanding. Dan built his foundations by collecting and playing Vinyl from various genres of music which shortly lead onto Soulful House and recording live mixes. Influenced by other DJ’s and producers Dan took a keen liking to a catchy US groove know as Chicago/Jackin’ House in 2006/2007 which then lead Dan breaking into the house club scene in Birmingham & Wolverhampton. Just 18 Dan mastered his unique sound collection and started growing his own crowds. Just 2 years ago Dan decided to step up his game and take on a new challenge of making his own music. A Sound that was fresh and caught your ears by many generations. Having the influence from soul fuelled jazz; Dan built his EP portfolio and became recognised by the house legend that is Derrick Carter receiving the honors of remixing for DC's Classic label. Since then Dan has secured many new EP deals and remix packs with recently securing line up’s with Miami’s WMC 2013 and associated record labels. Still young in career Dan has great passion and tenacity to continue his strengths in making jazzy grooves and bumpin’ enjoyment.

House, minimal, jazz, funk & general chilled beats.

Dj JWalls has now been djing for over 18 years. From bedroom djing, he started playing house and trance at an early stage and age,  around bars and clubs in the island of Menorca in the Balearic Islands. It was the year 2000 and house and trance was the music that you would hear in Spain and mainly in the Balearic Islands of Mallorca, Menorca and Ibiza.

 He then moved to the UK for a winter, and when he came back ready for the next summer season, he was one of the pioneers introducing and expanding the “urban scene” in the island, alongside his friend Dj Luke Meadows that had recently moved to the island, through playing in different venues, creating events etc... , genres like rnb, hip hop, old school Uk garage and dnb, sounds that were already been playing in the uk for a while but had not break through in the island scene, although the holidaymakers were demanding it.

The ability to play urban music together with house music, meant he was able to mix and blend all this genres in one session, mixing in also club anthems and the newest tunes, making him a crowd pleaser, and creating a special vibe in the dance floor.

In 2003 Cova den Xoroi and Dj JWalls, after the increasing demand by the holidaymakers to have main club nights dedicated to this genres of music, created Urban Flava´, a night where you cold enjoy all the genres mentioned before, and this night became one of the UK holidaymaker’s favourites. Through his residency at this event he was able to share a Dj box with the likes of Dj EZ, The Artful Dodger, Matt "Jam" Lamont, Deejay "S", Mc Kie, Scottie B and Mc Ibz (Twice as Nice) Dj Luck and Mc Neat, A. Skillz, Mc Psg, Mc Dt, Mc Spanish Fly who has helped host many of the main events with JWalls at Flava Bar, DJ Zinc, Aphrodite,  Mc Ranking, Deekline, Dj Parker, Ali B from Kiss Fm Uk, Cut la Roc and many more. Many of them returning to the island year after year and forging a nice friendship and relationship with JWalls.

Also he hosted a residency at the Foam Party at Cova den Xoroi and at weekends and a residency at Freeestyle event on 2010,  event that through the years hosted  international acts like   "Defected in the House", Lee Cabrera, Robbie Rivera,  Silicon Soul, Utah Saints, NIckodemus, and also many Ibiza dj´s as David Penn, David Gausa, Dj Oliver, Wally Lopez, Cristian Valera and many many more..... 

In 2006 Dj JWalls took on a big project and fully transformed a large late night  music  bar/pub/club,  now called Flava´Bar, one of the favorite of the holidaymakers from all around the island where many theme nights, events, parties most which include renowned international dj´s and mc´s, are hosted through the summer nights.

As well as a Dj, JWalls is also a Promoter, and a business entrepeneur,  with many dj contacts both in the Uk and Spain, mainly in London and the balearic scene, and creates and promotes many succesful events. 

More recently he has organized events in his bar, Flava Bar with dj´s from Oceana and Revolutions in the Uk, like Dj Littleman and Dj Mossy.

He has also shared dj boxes and events with the main dj´s in the island such as  Dj King, Dj Sas, Bruno Costa, Ei Damys, DJ Will, Fede Garcia and many more.

Bandleader Lance Ferguson and his nine piece Melbourne outfit The Bamboos have come a long way since forming in 2001. Initially inspired by the instrumental raw funk of the late ‘60s and early ‘70s, they made waves internationally and were quickly labelled as one of the greatest funk and soul bands of our time. But while many would be happy to simply soak up the praise and keep on keeping on, The Bamboos have proven that they are more than meets the eye; over five acclaimed albums, their evolution in sound and style has consistently confounded and exceeded expectations, pulling the rug from under the feet of those who like to pigeonhole. 

The band signed to respected Brighton (UK) indie label Tru Thoughts in 2005, where they remain a cornerstone of the roster. Across their five studio albums to date - ‘Step It Up’ (2006), ‘Rawville’ (2007), ‘Side-Stepper’ (2008), ‘4’ (2010) and 'Medicine Man' (2012) – the metamorphosis of The Bamboos has been full of twists and turns, and it continues apace. A seasoned DJ, solo producer (aka Lanu) and all-round insatiable music obsessive, Ferguson's myriad influences and passion for pushing things forward ensure that each new release is a discovery for devout fans and newcomers alike.

Their fifth long-player ‘Medicine Man’, released in June 2012 was a watershed - a forward-looking record brimming with fresh ideas, stellar turns, classic songwriting and a brand of multi–layered pop they can truly call their own. Guest vocalists Aloe Blacc, Tim Rogers (You Am I), Megan Washington, Daniel Merriweather, Bobby Flynn, alongside resident singers Kylie Auldist and then newcomer Ella Thompson helped make the album their biggest at home to date. Lead single "I Got Burned" feat. Rogers was a sizeable radio hit, made it to #54 on radio station Triple J's Hottest 100 listeners poll (the biggest publicly voted song poll in the world) of the top songs of that year.

Like its predecessor, the band's sixth album 'Fever In The Road' was co-produced by ARIA- nominated, multi-instrumentalist studio wizard John Castle – whose work with the likes of Washington, Josh Pyke, Gossling, Pez and Kate Miller-Heidke has ranked him amongst the first-call producers in Australia. The new record (the first on Ferguson's own Pacific Theatre label) sees Castle and Ferguson venturing into sonic landscapes The Bamboos have previously touched on but never fully inhabited. There is a sense that the music is leaner and more muscular, yet upon closer inspection the tracks reveal themselves to be densely multi-layered in a 'Wall Of Sound' style. And it's this aural complexity and depth that allows darker moods to roam through the album, taking their sound to a new place. The songs career from the wondrously anthemic ('Avenger', The Truth', 'Rats', 'Jump My Train'), to the dreamy and psychedelic ('Looking West', 'Harbinger') and the darkly fragile ('Killing Jar', 'Before I Go'). Choosing this album to reflect the band as it is on stage, the vocals are split between Kylie Auldist and Ella Thompson. And each bring contrasting styles that complement each other magically, but show The Bamboos to be utterly unique.

Their songs have been regularly on playlists of national radio stations in Australia, the UK, France, the US, Japan and beyond. The unshakable charm of their songs has also seen them licensed to hit movies including Crazy Stupid Love, the soon to be released  Adore - Naomi Watts & Robin Wright. and TV shows such as Grey’s Anatomy, CSI New York, One Tree Hill, Ugly Betty and Australian shows such as Underbelly, House Husbands, Offspring, Packed To The Rafters.
