Emma Sankofa is an Artist from Houston, Texas.

Sankofa is a word in the Twi language of Ghana that translates as "Go back and get it" (san - to return; ko - to go; fa - to fetch, to seek and take).

From designing aircrafts as an aerospace engineer to becoming a recording artist, songwriter and producer, Rakiyah is merging both worlds into her own lane of music. The New Jersey native emerged to the scene with her reinvented sound of alternative and smooth R&B, and Hip Hop. She's known for her celestial, soothing vocals, and garnered attention with her first English/Korean R&B track "Like You" in 2020. Since then, she has been determined to show the world her passion for music and her extraordinary creativity, recently releasing her most highly anticipated EP "The Cosmic Queen".
