In a time where electronic music gets harder and faster each day, Berlin-based duo Brigade‘s debut album „Hard Times, Soft Music“ reclaims easy listening as a badge of honour. Being released on the 14.10.2022, the record is a meticulously calibrated work of room temperature, a home cooked meal between friends or a warm sonic blanket that tugs you in after a rainy day. Pushing their club roots to the side, Brigade‘s debut album confidently sits between ambient, house and hip hop. „We took the pandemic as a cue to take a break from dancefloor productions and play around with different genres and production styles.“ The first single „International Communication™“ showcases that breadth and introduces an album pretty much anyone in the post-Shrek cultural landscape could agree on. Basically, if you appreciate a good hug, chances are you‘ll enjoy this LP.

Born and raised in Ibiza, Valentin Huedo grew up surrounded by seductive tunes and grooves, connected with astounding nature and free-minded people. He grabbed the essence of the island and understood the way music transcends us and makes us bond with ourselves and with each other. And ever since, he’s been projecting this both on the island and all over the world.

From a very young age, he soundtracked the sunset at the legendary Café del Mar, being the youngest DJ to play there in a residency that lasted for a decade. In the following years, he would step forward into the Balearic scene as resident DJ at the infamous beach club Blue Marlin Ibiza and also as one of the main hosts of Ibiza Sonica Radio, spreading the sound of the island internationally. In 2016, he started his DJ residency at WooMooN, a rite that celebrates life, love and art in a community that brings back the original spirit of the White Island. Since then, he’s been composing magical grooves and fantastic melodies for music imprints such as ‘Do Not Sit on the Furniture’ and ‘Music for Clubs’ and has been described as ‘redefining the Balearic sound of his predecessors’.

Eclectic, versatile, organic and with one-of-a-kind sensitivity to mixing genres and emotions, Valentin brings his true Balearic mojo to the dance floors around the globe, to be danced by all those who live by the sun and love by the moon.

After a delayed effigy burn, I kicked off Technoasis' post burn Harness Up party. What began with four dear friends frolicking and cartwheeling naked around the dance floor soon erupted into an explosive, exuberant, sexy as fuck packed dance floor. 

The energy was immense, one of the best dance floors I've played to. I absolutely loved it! Thank you to those of you who joined the journey. 

It didn't stop there. The entire night at Technoasis was electric and each of the artists played beautifully self-expressive, powerful, playful sets. Wow.

I'm always incredibly grateful to the artists that I can play music I adore. Enjoy x

Kiwiburn Technoasis Burn Night 2024 | Post Effigy Burn

Interwoven stories of being shipwrecked on an emotional landscape.. Includes many of my favorite flavors of Indie Dance but predominantly tracks with Indie band influences and what I would like to call Space Disco ❤❤❤ 

I struggled a bit putting this set together so was a bit reluctant to share, especially after my mysterious tech drama on the night.. Yet I got some great feedback nevertheless (which is so often the case despite all the trials along the way!) After listening back there are some sections that I actually really love ❤  

Shipwrecked Festival is an incredible multi sensory experience, curated to an extraordinarily high level in all areas.. If you ever get the opportunity to go, I highly recommend it!!  Thanks again Lucky Star for including me on your lineup, it is always an honor ✨🙏💕

Burning Man has a tendency to produce some of the most amazing highs you've ever experienced, as well as some challenging moments.  On this Thursday I had been called to handle a very challenging situation the previous night and was super worn out.  It was extra hot that day, and I just couldn't fall asleep to catch up on rest.

Despite that, I ventured out to Camp Cl!t, not sure what to expect.  What I found were such warm and generous people who welcomed me and made me feel at home.  I felt truly uplifted by the hospitality, and I channeled my emotion into one of my best and favorite sets of the burn!

emma tree is an eclectic DJ who currently resonates most strongly with the experimental and retro frequencies of Indie Dance.  A child of the 80s brought up on pop and classical who also has a past life inspired by the alternative band scene and the first days of Rave.  

Ms tree began her creative journey as a photographic artist and is now on a mission to explore the magic of the aural realms...  Her main love is to craft a set that poetically weaves a story or encompasses a theme, feeling or vibe. 

Continuously branching out to discover new territory and express herself through the medium of electronic dance music, each set is unique, a work of art from the heart.  A heart infinitely entranced by the magic created when two tracks blend perfectly together...✨

Whatever the genre, emma tree is always drawn to the fresh and unusual, lush or quirky melodies and deep resonating bass..  She always endeavours to make her sets interesting, emotive, uplifting.. and most of all danceable.
