From the very beginning, MonoAbe was in integral part of the whole La Barca process - from lending a hand during construction to joining us on our very first journeys, your presence has been more than valuable to us. We couldn't have asked for a better companion to help bring our vision to life.

„It has been such a fun project to record a mixtape for La Barca. The diverse landscapes I've encountered on our journeys have been nothing short of inspiring. With each view, I found myself imagining the perfect soundtrack accompanying it. Recording everything in my studio allowed me to capture those moments in their purest form, and adding analog delays and reverbs lent a warmth and authenticity that I believe truly enhances the experience“

@buchneroberst have been a very special project for us ever since their release of “Doves” which was recorded with Mimu and included a remix by both Rampue and Patlac. But even before that Sebastian Oberst and Andreas Buchner formed the perfect example of a great live act. In March 2016 they provided “Erdberg” as a free download on trndmsk— now they want to follow up with a contribution to our Future Stars series. Their set was recorded live and is titled “Secretly”. We talked to them about the creation of the set, their Downtempo event series Heimlich and their future releases. (...)

Philipp Fein aus Köln hat unsere Nummer 78 gemischt. Er ist Co-Founder von Feines Tier, Ancient Future Now und des Jack Who, in dem er sich bis zur Schließung um das Booking gekümmert hat. Seinen musikalischen Ursprung sieht Philipp im Funk und Hip Hop, was auch in seinen heutigen Sets und Tracks eindeutig zu hören ist. Seine erste Veröffentlichung feierte er im Jahr 2012 mit dem Titel “Slinga” und zuletzt beglückte er uns mit seinem Edit von Waldeck - Get Up … Carmen, der auf Feines Tier erschienen ist. In der Zwischenzeit sind einige Remixe in der Zusammenarbeit mit Johannes Klingebiel, unter dem Pseudonym 106er entstanden.
Feinsinnig, vielfältig und genau; Diese Attribute beschreiben ihn und sein Set für uns sehr gut. Wir wünschen euch viel Spaß mit über 90 Min. Philipp Fein!

Ms tree began her creative journey as a photographic artist and is now on a mission to explore the magic of the aural realms...  Her main love is to craft a set that poetically weaves a story or encompasses a theme, feeling or vibe. 

Continuously branching out to discover new territory and express herself through the medium of electronic dance music, each set is unique, a work of art from the heart.  A heart infinitely entranced by the magic created when two tracks blend perfectly together...✨

Whatever the genre, emma tree is always drawn to the fresh and unusual, lush or quirky melodies and deep resonating bass..  She always endeavours to make her sets interesting, emotive, uplifting.. and most of all danceable.
