Aus weiter Ferne kommt das Puckerbrot von SEIUN herangeflattert, die gerade durch Bali gereist ist. Auf die gebürtige Französin, die mittlerweile in Amsterdam lebt, sind wir letztes Jahr aufmerksam geworden. Sie verfügt über eine enorme Präsenz hinterm Pult und verbindet verspielte Elemente mit deepen & kraftvollen Sounds. Ihr Podcast kommt slow & deep um die Ecke und versprüht ne Menge Liebe.

Na Hallihallo,
bei solch einem idyllischen Ausblick an der schönen Ostsee, kriegen wir langsam echt Lust auf die blühende Jahreszeit. Endlich längere Tage, gemeinsam mit kühlen Getränken an der frischen Luft, hach! – Aber genug von der Träumerei und lasst uns gemeinsam, mal wieder ne Runde aufm Karussell drehen – diesmal mit @melaune, der Ende letzten Jahres bei unserem ersten, kleinen Showcase in der Radtanke in Leipzig, kurzfristig für @l0ttal0ve eingesprungen ist. Das hat richtig Laune gemacht und ein großes Dankeschön geht an dieser Stelle raus, der wir die Begegnung zu verdanken haben. Vielleicht haben wir ja auch bald das Vergnügen? :)

Falls sich einige fragen, was MELAUNE eigentlich bedeutet?! Der Ausdruck Laune (von lateinisch „luna“ - Mond) bezeichnet ursprünglich eine vermeintlich vom Mondwechsel ausgehende Einflussnahme auf den Menschen. Man erklärte mit dieser phasenbedingten Wandelhaftigkeit des Mondes seit dem Altertum einen merklichen oder plötzlichen Stimmungsumschwung. Auch Musik kann ähnliche Auswirkungen auf das Wohlgemüt der Menschen haben, wie sie schon dem Mond zugeschrieben wurde. Musik kann nicht nur einen elysischen Rausch erzeugen, die Magie dieser kann eine komplette Tanzfläche in einen Ort voller Energie und überschäumender Emotionen verwandeln.
Wenn all das zusammenkommt und im Einklang ist, die Musik die Tänzer*innen treibt und die Laune ins Unermessliche steigt, spricht man von dem melaunischen Phänomen.

Dieser Mix verkörpert eine perfekte Mischung aus Hip-Hop, verspulten Synths und drückend-funkigen Basslines, die uns schonmal perfekt aus dieser Tristesse da draußen rausholen und unsere Gliedmaßen reichlich vorwärmen. Saftig-konsistente 90 Minuten.

✔️ What are your musical Influences?

My influences are very diverse, from classical music to psychedelic and alternative rock to indie pop and hip hop, a broad spectrum has also developed in electronic music from downtempo to house and also trance and drum and bass. So far I've mainly been producing downtempo and house, but who knows what's to come. Especially when DJing I love to move between the genres. That's why I'm particularly inspired by artists who incorporate a mixture of different styles into their productions or sets :) Acid Pauli has always been a big inspiration for me, right from the start.  
 
My musical background has been a great love for music of all kinds since I was a child ! For as long as I can remember, music has been my emotional catch basin, my first great love, which carries and accompanies me unconditionally. 
That's why the moments I spend in the studio or behind the decks are always very timeless and of a very special quality, because especially in the studio I can feel like a child again, drifting off into his fantasy world and discovering lots of crazy "stuff" :D !

✔️ What makes a good Afterhour?

For me, it's when people of the heart "glown" into the next day together after a wild, all-night dance, in the best case it's summer, the sun is shining, there's really good vibe house music playing and someone suddenly comes round the corner with a load of fresh coffee *_* an even better espresso martini, and the sea right in front of your nose :D

✔️ Thoughts about the Set and your Gig at the festival:

This mix should take you on a journey, whether on the train, at the lake, at home, no matter where, I hope that it gives you a little magic and security and that you can let off steam a little in your emotions. 
 
In short, this mix should give you A LOT OF FEELING along the way :)

How a Sunday morning at a festival should start, with a champagne breakfast, a sugar-sweet crowd, your favourite people and a musical journey that I could really let myself fall into. 
The best moment was when I played my track "Wanna Fly" (still unreleased) in front of people for the first time towards the end and the feedback was so incredibly magical! Really beautiful all round!

Das ein Mix von Nɨxe bei mir etwas mit Wasser zu tun hat, is ja eigentlich klar. Den Termin für den Podcast haben wir schon vor gut einem halben/dreiviertel Jahr ausgemacht … da ich Nɨxe unbedingt in meiner Reihe wissen wollte. Nun war sie wie so viele andere gute Freunde auf dem kleinen feinen Sa Terza Metari Festival in Sardinien und hat dort ein überragendes Set für ein noch überragenderes Floor-Publikum gespielt … aber halt leider nicht den beliebten Record-Knopf gedrückt. Aber da ja der Podcast für Elektro Uwe in den Startlöchern stand … wurde der Moment nochmals nachgefühlt und mit etwas Abstand rekonstruiert. Ich sag nur so viel „MENO wieso war ich nicht dabei“ 🌊 🌊 🌊

Nɨxe … tausend Dank für die schöne Idee mit dem Sa Terza Metari Set … passt zu 100% genauso in meine Reihe. Und nun liebe Hörer spürt noch ein bisschen dem Sommer hinterher mit den Tönen von Nɨxe.
