Quadrakey represents the harmony of a top-tier DJ/Producer duo. Based in Berlin, this happily married couple has been DJing since the early 2000s and officially became Quadrakey in 2007. Their years of experience have honed their ability to expertly move the dancefloor.

Their exceptional ability to blend various shades of house music – shaped by their love for classic house, deep house, jazz and soulful rhythms – has established them as top-notch selectors. From their Berlin studio, they craft tracks that are melodic, emotional, and full of groove.

In 2015, after years of collecting records, they launched their label, Tooman Records. The label’s motto, “House music with a deep passion”, reflects the energy they bring to the dancefloor. Their carefully curated catalog positions the label for a promising future.

In early 2018, Quadrakey began hosting their monthly radio show, “Deep Passion” on Bloop Radio London, a cutting-edge electronic music station featuring DJs and club nights from London and beyond.

In summary, Quadrakey is a passionate and charming duo, armed with a powerful array of music that mesmerizes, enthralls, and fills any dancefloor with love.

I started out mixing all of the vinyl I had collected at the tender age of 16. By that point I had a healthy stash of 12" singles bought at the local record shops, Waterloo and Sound Exchange in Austin, Texas. It was 1990 and I had no idea where my fascination with mixing records would eventually lead me.

When the birth of the Austin rave scene happened in 1992 after a passionate couple of ravers from San Francisco moved to my home city, I was right there in the thick of it and quickly became one of Austin's most successful DJ's, playing at a majority of the events happening in the capital city.

When by chance, in 1994, a guy named Daniel Foreman who was about to open a club in Austin showed up to a warehouse party that the other prominent DJ's of Austin's underground scene and I were playing at, the unlikely birth of Proteus happened. I was one of the resident DJs at Proteus for several years and became even more well known and in demand. Proteus is still, after 20 years, notoriously known as one of Austin's  most loved and influential nightclubs ever.

While all of this was going on, I was honing my production skills as well, eventually attending and graduating from Pyramind, a music production, theory, and business school in San Francisco. This led to my music being released worldwide by  record labels such as Harmonious Discord Recordings, Whiskey Pickle Records, Denied Music, Fett Recordings, LB Recordings, Alakazam Recordings, MadRat Promotions, SubTech Collective Light, and others.

Many years later, now having lived in San Francisco for over a decade and with the incredible success of my production work, I have begun my own record label, Subplot Recordings in order to influence your mind and control your body on the dance floor, wherever that may be.
