The weight of silence episode 2 : an audio journey through eating disorders

When I was 17, I got diagnosed with anorexia and it was the scariest time in my life but I am not alone with this experience. An estimated 1.25 million people struggle with an eating disorder across the Uk and according to BEAT eating disorder charity on average people can wait up to 3 1/2 years for treatment. In this audio documentary I talk to those who have been affected by the illness and look at how important it is that specialist services need to be supported.
