Dass sich junge Rotzlöffel anmaßen als musikalische Einflüße die großen Britpopbands wie die Arctic Monkeys, Oasis oder gar die Beatles zu nennen, ist dieser Tage keine Seltenheit. Wenn sie dann aber als ihre lyrischen Einflüsse die großen deutschen Liedermacher wie etwa Konstantin Wecker nennen, kann sich so manchem konservativem Musikliebhaber schonmal die Stirn in Falten legen.
Im Sommer 2011 gegründet waren die Anfangszeiten der No Goes, wie es wohl bei den meisten jungen Bands ist, vorallem von Inkosequenz und Verschwendung geprägt, was aber bekannter Maßen einer hoffnungsvollen Truppe, die Vertrauen ins Leben hat noch selten geschadet hat. Und so wird im Zuge eines Ausbruchsversuches aus dieser selbstverschuldeten Inkosequenz im Frühling 2013 nun eine erste EP der No Goes erscheinen und man wird versuchen, sich möglichst eigenständig und doch im Bewusstsein der großen Vorbilder, vorzustellen. Hallo wir sind die No Goes.


SCURIOUS was formed in 2006 in Munich by Rolf Revilak (Drums), Phillip Martini (Bass) and Michael Hölzel (Guitar). Since its conception, this tight unit has managed to create a very distinct and original sound that fuses at least three different genres into one. Since their music spans various styles and since they did not want to be mislabeled, SCURIOUS simply created their own genre: DropMetalCrossRock, which is characterized by Michael’s powerful riffing and catchy solos, Phil’s virtuosity on the bass guitar and Rolf’s versatile and dynamic drumming. In the following years, the band relentlessly gigged, wrote music, and perfected their sound. However, it was not until 2013, that due to an unexpected line- up change SCURIOUS would become the band they always imagined to be. With the addition of singer Natalia Bagatelas new life was breathed into old songs and this forged the way for new material that would take the band to the next level – all thanks to their stunningly talented new front woman. 

Even though this formation of SCURIOUS is quite new, the four-piece has already played countless gigs in Munich and abroad, including shows at the Club Wakuum in Graz (Austria), the Backstage, the Garage Deluxe, the Glockenbachwerkstatt, Sunny Red, and many more. The four Bavarians pour their heart and soul into the music and have made it their goal to make their shows a night their fans will never forget. 

SCURIOUS will release their three-track-EP, “Cold Day in Hell”, on December 6th 2013.
