As the title suggests, this musical piece is based on Fate/Stay Night (the 2006 anime from a pre-KonoSuba Studio Deen I managed to binge-watch with my day-job hours in-between back in late September 2023). Do note that the beginning section of this song has Martin O'Donnell/Michael Salvatori-esque vibes (most notably, Halo: Reach). I started working on this piece on a Saturday night and finished working on it that Sunday evening—a day, basically. Don't let the higher octaves on the strings, choir, and piano fool you. While it sounds optimistic and upbeat, in reality, it's meant to evoke sadness and the pure loss of tenderness that Saber tries to reclaim for herself. It also acts as a companion piece for last year's Jeremy Soule-esque memorial piece, "Holo Batmos." So sit back, relax in a quiet rain, have a calm sword by your side, and enjoy this sad but tender piece.
