Mariner + Domingo have become welcome regulars on Particles in the early part of 2021. Hitting the headlines with their "Azimuth" EP in March, the successful duo have been an integral part of the Florida club scene since the early 1990s. Making their collaborative debut for Balkan Connection in July 2020, their partnership has gone on to see music featured on Stellar Fountain, The Purr and Sound Avenue. Also combining the production prowess of Loveclub and the vocal talents of Priest Music Productions, "Lose Control" creates a wonderful journey as it flows from ticking percussive groove, subtle melodic motifs and muted vocal phrasing in the early stages, to a powerful progressive house track in the latter half. Redolent in vocoded effect, the loquacious vocals come fully to the fore at the breakdown before a delicate melody and perfectly matched bassline create a final sequence that draws the track to a stunning conclusion.

Originally from Dublin but now firmly ensconced in his adopted Australian home, Alan Thomas Doyle has carved a growing reputation with his amháin production moniker. A regular at high-profile festivals and clubs including Burning Man, Lightning In A Bottle and Berlin's Sisyphos, amháin has seen his music reach the likes of Massive Harmony Records, LAIKA Sounds and 3rd Avenue after a debut for Sound Avenue in March 2020. Now debuting on Particles, the amháin remix combines a rich rhythmic backdrop with subtle use of components from "Lose Control". Evolving in stylish fashion through infinite delays, textured pads and flowing melodies, amháin's own production material gives the track a rich, understated vibe that is a credit to his burgeoning talent.

Making his Particles debut in June 2020 with a remix of Espen's "Late Night Snack", Jayden Klight now returns to the label. First seeing his distinctive brand of underground house reach the catalogues of Glasgow Underground in September 2017, the US producer has found himself signed to such luminary imprints as Nie Wieder Schlafen, L'enfant terrible and Pablo Bolivar's Seven Villas. January 2021's "Click" EP for Sound Avenue also provided a further notable highlight with its deep house sounds. Capturing the essence of "Lose Control", the Jayden Klight remix revels in a complex percussive groove that rolls relentlessly forwards with powerful precision. A subtle play on the melodic phrasing of the original makes itself heard across the mid-range while effected vocal cuts swim across the stereo spectrum in dizzying fashion. Building to scintillating crescendo in the latter stages, Jayden Klight displays talent in abundance with an intelligent reworking.

Showcasing fresh and original music from a host of new and established artists, many of whom have shaped the label's success since its 2014 inception, "Century" presents a snapshot of modern underground dance music after a tumultuous two years, through a lens of global cooperation, togetherness and undiminished creativity.

Spearheading proceedings, a "Trident" of raw bassline vitality energises, and where emotional intensity creates a dramatic opening before the luscious sounds of "Sky Blue" hit the heights with its sparkling beauty. A "Night by the Fire" warms the musical soul with its earworm melodies and burning intensity, while "Doxtoutheo" creates a richly cadenced groove, full of percussive intricacy and delicate melodic flourishes that blossom post-breakdown.

Glistening in harmonious rivulets, "Lake Drizzle" is a sumptuous array of glistening sonic patterns that builds into a waterfall of sounds by its denouement, while the high-flying "Cirrus" scuds across the stereo spectrum with ease as analogue bass groove and shimmering arps pulsate gently alongside. "Beauty Creeps" is propelled forward by an uneasy chord progression where a delicate rhythmic cadence is the perfect match for melodic layers and snare rolls to provide a natural evolution. Meanwhile, the intricate percussive backdrop and syncopated chords of "Fireglow" burns brightly before modulated lead line heats up the second half with fiery passion.

A chest-thumping kick boosts "Nexus 6" into a spell-binding array of motifs and white-noise effects that hit the heights in the third movement, before the "Legend of Miranda" creates a magical soundscape full of energy and vivacity, building to a searing glissando lead. The sonic intensity of "Turmoil" creates a hypnotic energy with its 16th note synth whirl and heavily effected vocal cuts, while "Tonight" creates a club-friendly atmosphere built upon head-shaking groove and synth work with a thrilling bassline progression adding further to the intensity.

A return to the progressive breaks force of yesteryear and the in vogue sound of the here and now, "Hello Darkness" elegantly juxtaposes a rich breakbeat foundation with a smooth melodic narrative that tells its own story, evolving into a driving musical masterpiece. The bass-heavy groove of "Flying with Chords" is tempered by detuned Orbital-esque chords that swim in dizzying fashion with filtered intensity. Building with ease, a sonic mosaic paints a bright and thoroughly modern picture before "Y Knot" closes the party with its anthemic progressive vibe and Underworld-esque melodic refrains. Gleaming arps and sustained pads hit the mark as a driving kick and ticking hats adds weight and dancefloor knowhow.

A towering edifice on the dance music skyline, "Century" clearly stands out as a glowing beacon and symbol of a bright musical future.

No doubt, this EP is probably the most important release of the year on Univack.

The well known colombian artist Kamilo Sanclemente @kamilosanclemente returns to Univack with an ambitious EP with 3 originals mixes and 2 remixes by two of his friends: the brillant netherlander artist Alex O'Rion @alexorion , and the spanish label boss Integral Bread @integralbread

Each of the three originals by Kamilo Sanclemente offers an unique experience. With 'Evergreen', we enjoy the deepest, warmest and most organic side of Kamilo, a track that captivates from the beginning. With 'Perspective', we enjoy a devastating track, with an unbeatable groove, and nuances and arrangements that Kamilo picks up from genres like Soul, Funky and Jazz. On 'Elements' Kamilo experiments with mixing pure Progressive House elements with an operatic vocal track that gives it a unique and futuristic character. 

Alex O'Rion displays all his mastery to achieve a remix of 'Evergreen' being faithful to the original but  offering a different atmosphere at the same time, and combining elements of the original track with new contributions that fit perfectly. 

Integral Bread closes this EP with a very personal version of 'Perstective'. Also faithful to the original in terms of structure and elements, but with new tracks that give it a deeper and more ethereal character. An ideal finishing touch for an epic release.

Sergey Muzarks - Voyage (Santiago Rossi Remix)

Transensations Records brings another remarkable collab of our label manager GORKIZ, this time with MATIAS OCAÑO, presenting the EP THE MISSING LINK, including a FORERUNNERS remix.
Main track "The Missing Link", is a Gorkiz collab with Argentinian producer Matias Ocaño, a progressive delight rolled into nostalgic long pads, highlighting a profound atmosphere and melody in perfect balance.
Making his Debut on Transensations is Forerunners, the US artist Brenden LaBonte has consistently found himself at the forefront of a distinctive progressive house sound with high quality releases on imprints that include Anjunadeep, Silk Music, and Meanwhile. Presenting a remix full of melodic poise and a driving beat, the aural atmosphere at the breakdown creates a dancefloor delightful track.
Next one is "Dissonance" with a denser and rhythmic ambience, creating a hypnotic atmosphere on the dancefloor. Closing the EP, Gorkiz presents "Quiet Sunset" , an Intro ambient track, showing all the creativity and talent of this great producer.
These are tracks to keep the dancefloor connected and dancing, a must-have for the progressive house lovers.
