The ship ground to a halt, its heavy machinery producing a loud creak as it slowed to a complete standstill. Screams echoed through the air and panic spread across the faces of those on board; everyone turned quickly on foot exploring every corner of the vessel to find the root of the problem. In the belly of the ship the glistening metallic engines rumbled, every man would need to work harder and faster than ever before to keep the ship afloat. But looking out to sea another fearful enemy loomed on the horizon, a storm that would take no prisoners...

For his next release Leipzig-based producer and DJ Credit 00 lands on London label Out The Flat with a four tracker that twists and turns through dark hypnotic house, acid and electro. The Rat Life Records boss has become known for his diverse productions, taking inspiration from EBM and acid to ghettotech, new wave and Detroit techno, which have made their way to labels like Bordello A Parigi, Pinkman, New York Haunted and Rat Life's sister label Uncanny Valley.

“The Orion Years” finally reissued in vinyl format to celebrate its 25th Anniversary // Hybride Sentimento invite Thomas P. Heckmann with one of his most prolific alias; AGE. An ode to 60’s German sci-fi TV series: “Raumpatrouille Orion". Deluxe Edition with new artwork + 2 exclusive tracks, remastered by artist himself, at TROPE studio (Mainz,Germany). Back in 1994, an emulsion time for club oriented electronic music and while biggest techno hits were produced, a bunch of musicians started to explore machines in a non-conventional way, giving another smell to the appreaciation of this new form of music and production: independant, synthetic & futuristic(in the way of announcing something modern; out of humanity). We can point out just a few labels spreading this kind of 'avantgarde' electronic scene, Mille Plateaux, where "The Orion Years" has been published, was one of them. Some of those artists been highly appreaciated by the audience, basing their career on such abstract, melodic or not, experimental dance muzik, sometimes assisted by computers or sequencers, sometimes not.  

Thomas P. Heckmann took part to this specific orientation in a very subtle way as his career always been based on techno production. Aside the hits (at the time on top of big charts), Thomas Heckmann always played with outfits and aliases, permitting to spread secretly, more developed and less commercial, maybe more personnal productions through different labels often owned by himself. At the difference of all his productions, the first album under AGE moniker appears to (still) be an UFO of a generation and a career. Hybride Sentimento, in collaboration with Trope, is happy to reissue an album probably timeless for every aspects quoted, and for the reason to be privately worship since 1st meeting. Enjoy!

Everyone of us wants to live forever, but more than half do not know what they gonna do at thursday evening, we are like those passengers who have gathered so many things with us that we forgot what lies at the bottom of the suitcase, and when we arrive at our destination, we find needless things in our luggage, same with our past, we don’t remember what it was and where we squander our experiences, memories and feelings, we are just passengers here, we are just passing through. 
Greek artist June makes his debut on Mannequin Records with the 'Silver Demon' LP. The album explores a futuristic dystopian world where transcendence and oppression coexist, where claustrophobia and infinite openness coincide. A world of contrasts that is the product of the artist‘s active imagination and conscious effort to confront the subconscious.
The album was recorded using original techniques from the golden era of electronic music (late 70s to mid 80s) with an arsenal of vintage analog synthesizers, drum machines and effect processors originating from the same time period. The label is delighted to welcome Kris Baha with his first 12" for Especial. After killer remixes of Sfire and Red Axes for the label, his name as an artist, with his darker take on dance music, has risen and risen.

With releases on Bahnsteig 23, CockTail d'Amore and Pinkman, Baha has become a respected artist in just a few years. Building analogue equipped studios in Melbourne and Berlin, DJing, producing and mixing have all led to atonal ear, where success came through dedication.

Following his debut album Palais, Barely Alive acts as release from these years of sweat. A call to all in this modern world, the song exemplifies a move from club music to a freedom in sound and song, as vox crash against 808 and Arp 2600. Remixes start with Timothy J Fairplay a name synonymous with Especial. Here TJF laces his trademark echoplexxed wash for a cold wave mover. Next prodigy Job Sifre builds on his acclaimed debuts with a remodel that goes straight to 'that' basement, mixing his love of electro, new wave and industrial. To close, the legend of Das Ding creates a re-alternate remix, fusing his unique fuzz with Baha's ode for a brittle finale.
