Next up on E-Motion and to mark our 30th release, we have an artist who’s taking the Jungle world by storm. With tracks released on DJ Vapours 36 Hertz Records and forthcoming tracks on Dread, It’s clear to see DJ Hybrid is providing the goods when it comes to smashing out jungle cuts in the lab.

And his debut on E-Motion is no exception, with both tracks, Falling & Don’t Stop, taking a jungle twist and combining it with the soul and emotion of liquid funk. 

The lead track, Falling, leaves no holds barred and gets straight to work on delivering that feel good, summer time vibe. Luscious keys and emotive pads set the foundation, before we’re hit with a fury of sub bass. Captivating vocals bellow in the background really bringing the whole mix together and ensuring movement upon the dance floor. 

On the the flip side DJ Hybrid keeps things rolling but switches it up a little with the likes of Don’t Stop. Catchy vocals and snappy drums take ahold from the start and the intro continues to build with stabby synth work which filters in before exploding into the drop.

Both tracks showcase DJ Hybrids ability to produce drum and bass to the very highest degree and are set to cause a storm whether they are played in the club or through your iPod on the way to work.

The heritage of this series speaks volumes, and 'Sick Music 2018' takes the quality to a whole new level. Hospital's leading dancefloor duke Danny Byrd has taken things straight back to ’99 with ‘Devil’s Drop’. Firing on all cylinders he's keeping it raw, rolling and funky. In a similarly devilish fashion we have 'Bootstrap Bill’ finally unleashed by the enigmatic Unglued. Unashamedly destructive and executed with precision, this track is more dangerous than Donald Trump drunk on Twitter.

In a perfect fusion of Hospital and Med School, we see Fred V & Grafix's 'Hurricanes (Wild Love)' re-worked with pristine precision by everyone’s favourite prodigy Keeno. Keeping the vibe level at eleven, Hugh Hardie's delivered the gorgeous ‘Nightingale’, both seductively simple and oozing with elegance.

‘Just One Second’ by London Elektricity gets its first re-work since the late Apex’s famous remix on the very first Sick Music. The beautiful track see’s a sterling contemporary edit and is a testament to Mitekiss’ talent.

This album also brings the first solo single from the biggest name in D+B right now, Kings Of The Rollers. Fiercely pushing into new territory ‘Burnt Ends’ has been causing carnage on the dancefloor, getting double wheel-ups from across the globe.

Joining this rich tapestry of exemplary D+B are both veteran composers and new blood alike including: Klute, Whiney, Urbandawn, Reso, Logistics, John B, and of course Hospital Records' commander-in-chief London Elektricity.

The release will be available across all formats but its grandest form will take that off the highly limited box set. Featuring a CD, the 4x12” plates, some box set only stickers and an exclusive T-shirt. One for the collectors, this is not a release to be overlooked.
