Founded on a cold winter day in Copenhagen, Emotive Sounds is a living creature, always developing and pushing its boundaries. Throughout the years, our ethos has always stayed the same: music brings out emotions, and all emotions are created equal.

Whether it’s about preparing a lovingly crafted release to deliver into the hands of discerning djs, or planning and performing at one of our events, we stay Emotive. We experiment, we take the music where the music wants to go, and we share it with those who want to stay in our company.

JVL is a techno DJ and producer from The Hague, Netherlands. JVL began producing music during the COVID lockdowns. Inspired by the global underground music scene, he crafts hypnotic, atmospheric tracks with a raw, energetic edge. Since restrictions eased, JVL has gained attention for his dynamic sets at local events and early releases on smaller labels. With a growing presence and a deep passion for techno, he is quickly establishing himself as an exciting new talent in electronic music.
