We’re giving you the unique chance to be a part of our forthcoming release “Let the Cream Rise”. The top 5 tracks, as voted for by the Empathy staff will make up the release and be sold on all major online retail outlets: Beatport, Itunes, Juno, Addictech and more.

How you produce is up to you - You choose genre, you choose the tempo and you choose the mood. We’ll be selecting the best 5 tracks to be a part of the EP and receive sales royalties. The top track will also receive a $50 download voucher courtesy of addictech.com.

To keep things interesting for you the producer we have added some limits to the challenge. The following Empathy Artists have each kindly donated a handful of exclusive samples, to be included in a downloadable bulk sample pack. There are 115 high quality samples for you to select from. You don’t have to use all of the samples, but you must use some and are encouraged to use many – While you can use your own sources, we strongly encourage you to make good use of the provided samples and will base our judgement on how well they are incorporated into your track.
With the wealth of talent out there we are confident this competition is going to bring out some amazing music – we can’t wait to hear what you all come up with.

- Tracks with copyright infringements will not be considered.
- You must use at least one sample from the provided pack in a central and obvious way.
- Entries close: September 10th 2013 - 6pm GMT
