Recorded live at Ecstatikal Dance at Ikal Mayan Sanctuary in Tulum, Mexico on Sunday, April 10, 2022.

A gorgeous sunny day dancing in the open air studio footsteps from the ocean and white sand beach of Tulum. Such a beautiful setting with a sacred altar in the center of the dance floor and Kiauitl guiding the opening prayers and burning copal incense the entire time.

This was my last day after spending a month in Tulum for the first time. I had many gigs that month though Ikal was my first when arriving and my last before I left. The vibes at Ikal were magical and I spent many days just drifting around there. 

Each week at Ecstatikal Dance was different, though today was particularly vibrant. The dance floor was lit, kids were running around and the dancers were getting down like no other week I saw. 

I got a lot of great feedback from the community that day. The energy afterward was so loving and open. It was a real pleasure for me to play!

This set includes many great artists such as Kaleema, Paax Tulum, Alex Serra, Mixwell, Praful, Tropo, Temple Step, and a remix of Koffee by Captain Planet.

This night was so magical, I have no words... The Netherlands are many times called the walhalla of Ecstatic Dance, with so many ED's (and dj's) for such a small country. This Night many of those dutch dance tribes gathered in the epicentre, Ecstatic Dance Amsterdam. We started with a beautiful, heart opening Cacao Ceremony and when the medicine entered, the journey started...

Such is the case with this 3+ hour journey that I've played at Hatzvi Cafe, a popular and chic place in Pardes-Hana, Israel.

The main theme is Brazilian and African Chillout, building up to more funky grooves towards the end.

Tantric Love Making Music Journey #1

Music is my passion - as a collector, dj, remixer and organizer of concious dance events outside the club scene. Again and again I am in awe of the sheer size of this sea full of emotions, the ever-growing variety of styles and flavours.
 
As a digital DJ I love building sophisticated mix sets in a wide range of
* ambient/meditation (no beat)
* psybient, space & erotic chillout
* downtempo chilldance
* ecstatic dance & 5 rhythms
* organic house, melodic techno
* psychedelic trance

If you go to "Playlists" you'll find my sets sorted by genres. At the moment, my favorite style is ethno-loaden psychedelic house 80 to 125 bpm, with occasional excursions into pure ambient for special events. 

Each of my sets comes with a track list, although I don't usually play tracks unaltered just as they are. Instead, I like creating musical collages: merging well selected elements of two or more single tracks carefully into a duet, combining their essence and most brilliant moments into new beauty. This creative process – call it mashup or alternative remixing – is complex and best done in home studio. It takes long nights, however, it puts me in flow state and pure joy. It's my 2nd biggest addiction, only topped by my 1st: Going out, performing live, seeing the faces of dancers in bliss, feeling that we are truly all ONE.

My deepest gratitude goes to all the producing artists who share the divine spark. It’s such a blessing how good music can touch the heart!
